Motorhome - Hardstanding Super Pitches (8m max)Jul 2026

First time we've done a motorhome. On arrival, staff were very friendly and showed us where to go to our pitch. We were given a map which made things easy to find. Had a very good shop on site with an astonishing amount of goods for campers. Lots of different variety of tents, campervans, static caravans lodges and cottages. I like that it's dog friendly, although I did get annoyed at the amount of people who brought their dogs out in the very high temperatures in the middle of the day, even though there were some areas, especially for the dogs, which they could go to when it was cooler. I think there should be some signs that state dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture, or around the pool area. I went to sit down on some soft cushions (more comfort as I'm disabled) only to find they were covered in dog hairs. As much as I love dogs, I don't want to be covered in their hair. As far as the pool is concerned I can't see the point of taking your dog there as there is no shade, and if they wee on the grass, some kids might sit in it. The staff in all areas were very polite, friendly and helpful. Food was very tasty and very good size portions. I would defiantly recommend for a relaxing time.

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2026

The facilities were excellent , clean and fresh at every visit and due to the number of blocks available I was normally the only person in there. The area around is perfect for dog walks with beach at Dawlish Warren accessible from the site by a 40 minute walk through woodlands.

Really great weekend break!

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2026

The site was clean and well organised - all the staff were friendly and accommodating. We took our 10 year old who instantly made friends on the pump track (bike/scooter a must if you're taking kids) and we hardly saw him the whole weekend! Outdoor pool was warm and clean. Evening entertainment was good and Sunday carvery didn't disappoint!

Exceeded expectations!

Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches (8m max)Jan 2026

Cofton is a beautiful site and kept amazing. We were in a touring pitch which was good and all the amenities were very well laid out. The showers were clean and warm. Downside was the electric being expensive at 30p per kw used, which I thought was steep. The swimming pool is lovely and the sauna too, just a shame that it's not included in the price. Good Sunday roast.

Motorhome - Short Stay Hardstanding Pitches (8m max)Dec 2025

A lovely site, our only downfall was that we were on a hard standing pitch on the hill. Even with wheel blocks our van wasn't level, which felt awful. The pitches on the level were great.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches (7m max)Nov 2025

Great site, fabulous facilities, lovely and quiet with great setting in a valley near Dawlish. The hard standings were spacious with grass next to each pitch. All facilities were exceptionally clean and close by. The entertainment was great, quiz, bingo and a singer, couldn't ask for much more at the beginning of November! Great private walk down to Dawlish Warren, also the bus stop is outside the site for travel to Dawlish or Star cross, where we got the train into Torquay for the day. Only downside, if there was one, was the configuration of the shower cubicles. The water got everything wet, if you weren't careful to hide everything behind the panel and didn't hang your towel on the door!

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2025

Lovely site, easy to get out on the bus. Clean facilities and plenty of them. Only grouch is showers don't stay on long at all. I wonder whether any of the staff try out these showers and wash long hair, they would see how difficult it is then. Having said that, all places seem to be going the same way.

What a lovely campsite! We liked the fact that you get shown to the pitches by a member of staff! The facilities were cleaned regularly, we had easy access to clean drinking water, washing area, showers and toilets. The pools were a great with the children and the shop had everything you needed. There was a choice of food, fish and chips, pizza and a couple of sit down places. We loved this campsite however, it was extremely noisy at night time resulting in us leaving a day early. We travelled with 2 children and a 7month old and night time really spoiled it for us, the noise went on until gone 11pm, whether that was young teens playing and shouting or one of the surrounding tents playing music.

Great camping holiday

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

I was really impressed with all the facilities at Cofton Holidays. The showers and toilets were regularly cleaned throughout the day and there was always hot water. If you could change the shower button to on or off, that would be helpful, as when you pushed the button in to make it work, it only stayed on for about 20 seconds which was inconvenient to say the least. All the staff were very helpful and cheery. The pool activities were enjoyable for all age groups and the trek through the woods to Dawlish Warren beach was good fun but longer than I expected. The grass pitch was big enough for my van, the tent and an event shelter which housed all the kitchen equipment. The High Ropes adventure was great for the older children and the skate park was good fun for all age groups. If you could heat the outside pool it would have been more enjoyable for me but that's because I've got old bones! An outside film night would have been good and children's entertainers who could walk around blowing up balloons and doing magic tricks etc would have been nice. A lot of the campers who were leaving would leave perfectly good bits of equipment, like tables and chairs and scooters for the kids, so if you set up a 'Once Loved' centre for campers to leave things behind, it would be a great idea. All eleven of us that stayed enjoyed ourselves and we have all said we'd stay with you again.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

We had never stayed before and I found it just via an internet search, so we were so pleased when we turned up to find how lovely it is. We stayed in the 12 Acre Field, with our own little corner of paradise. The shower block was a few min walk away, and the pool and pub were a little further. Perfect location.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Our first stay here, with our 2 grandchildren. The site was lovely, large and spread over different areas, so felt smaller. The gardens, paths, pools and bar area were well maintained. Great walks off site, through the woodlands and down to Dawlish Warren beach. There is a dog friendly area another far end of this beach. You can also walk through the country park to Sainsbury's in Dawlish Warren. The children did the high rope course, which was professionally run. Unfortunately, they missed put on pottery class as we had no Wi-Fi or mobile signal and couldn't book the activities online. Eventually, we booked in reception for high ropes and were too late for pottery. We paid £25 for 4 days of Wi-Fi for 5 devices which didn't work. So we complained and eventually, the Wi-Fi was repaired. We stayed in Barnfield grass pitches with our van, near the toilet block. The shower block was fairly clean, considering the height of the season. The hand dryer was falling to bits, only one sink had hand wash. The day we left, someone had pulled the panel off under the sink. Barnfield block is the oldest facility, we imagine but its a nice area to pitch up. All told, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed going out to Teignmouth beach and Dawlish town. Thanks to all the staff who are hardworking and friendly.

Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Pitches (8m max)Aug 2025

The site itself is excellent. Just a few bits that I felt could have been better. The menu for Amelia's has only a few options. Drink prices are ridiculously expensive. £7.50 for a pint! Also, there was so many people that you couldn't move in either the indoor or outdoor pool!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Wonderful holiday park with so much to do & excellent food! The outdoor pool & splash park was really great. The whole site really exceeded our expectations & all off the staff were so friendly. The only negative is that toilet/shower facilities really did need cleaning more than once a day as they got very messy with the amount of people using them. Also, the showers only stayed on a couple of seconds at a time. Despite this, we would definitely return!
