Lovely visit, will come again
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 Stayed for 2 nights, we turned up, found a pitch and set ourselves up. It was wonderfully quiet and very peaceful. Highly recommend. The shower and bathroom were clean and the water was warm and lovely.

Tranquil natural campsite - excellent Bell tent
Bell Tent - Bell Tent (4.5m) Jul 2023 Stayed here three times now with a young family - brilliant! New to camping but will always keep coming back.

Beautiful spot
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 A very special and beautiful spot right on the edge of the moor with pitches spread out effectively for lots of privacy, and views of rolling countryside. There are lots of clean toilets and showers. The owners were very friendly. Lovely local pub just down the road.

Amazing campsite, beautiful views in a very peaceful setting
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2023 Thank you for a wonderful stay, we had two very peaceful days on this unique campsite.
The views are amazing and facilities are kept beautifully clean.
I would highly recommend this campsite for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Devon.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2023 What a fab site, felt like we were wild camping but with the comfort of a shower and a loo! Spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Lovely warm welcome from Roy, who clearly loves what he does, keep up the great work. Fantastic views across Devon rolling hills.
We met Anita on our way out after packing up our tent, she was preparing the Shepherds Hut for the next guest and was equally enthusiastic and offered to show me the Shepherds Hut, a great alternative in the cooler months, very quaint and cosy. The only negative - we were unable to get hot water for pot washing, but this did not spoil our stay at this wonderful site.

I will pass on your feedback about the hot water, it's a challenge on an off-grid site and we'd like to find an eco-friendly solution!

Quiet with an amazing view
Single Axle Caravan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 The campsite was perfect for our trip to Dartmoor. It is quiet and clean and has a spectacular view.

Outstanding
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 Once again another fantastic stay. Very quiet site, with a view to relish. Toilets and shower rooms are very clean and Roy the warden is so pleasant. Will be staying again and highly recommend.

A little piece of heaven
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2023 As you enter the wooded tunnel entrance it felt like you were in a fairy tale. At the other end we were greeted with a big warm smile from Roy and the beautiful camping meadows he has created.
Pitches were well placed and cut out in the long grass. Main facilities are in the top meadow and were clean, well maintained and the shower was lovely. There were also toilet facilities in the lower meadow.
At Cannamore it’s all about peace, nature and appreciating the importance of the meadows and the wildlife they attract.
Thank you Roy and team for this amazing place and for making us feel so welcome. It was great chatting with you about the area and finding out about your family’s farming history as well as your continuing good work regards the meadows and wildlife pond.

Our stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 We stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful, peaceful meadow with small circular plots spaced out very well, all with amazing views of the Devon countryside.
Very convenient for Dartmoor and South Devon beaches, but only a few minutes from the A38. Perfect for those who like a relaxed stunning setting, with very clean facilities and lots of space.
