Lovely relaxed site Recommends site
Medium Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2026 Tobacconist farm campsite is a stones throw from the lovely village of Minchinhampton. The owner is very friendly and the site well maintained. It's a small site so never a queue for the showers and the facilities were always wonderfully clean. The kitchen with fridge, kettle and power points was an added bonus. Definitely recommended.
Great Site. Recommends site
Large Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2026 Great site, great facilities, great host, Lucy.
Peaceful stay Recommends site
Large Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2026 We really loved our stay on Tobacconist Farm. The location is beautiful and peaceful, we enjoyed watching many butterflies and it was lovely to meet the donkeys. Lucy was super helpful and friendly and the facilities very good and clean. Just a short walk into Minchinhampton and it was all so charming.
Lovely stay Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2026 Perfect 4 nights break
The campsite is one of the nicest we have stayed in & not overcrowded. Each pitch had lots of room, and was nice and flat. The showers were nice, clean and hot. Nice addition of the kitchen space with a fridge, freezer and washing machine. Would definitely recommend this site.
The owner is a lovely lady and couldn't do any more checking to make sure everything was working fine, and stayed for a chat. The local village is only a couple of mins walk with a lovely pub and shop.
Loved our 4 days and will definitely go back. Most people on the site were return visitors, which speaks for itself.
Little gem of a campsite Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2026 Really nice, little site in a nice, small town. Lucy was a lovely host, very chatty.
Large pitches with a nice outlook. Very chilled atmosphere and quiet. Spacious pitches.
Really impressed with the shower block and the nice little touches, such as bags at dog walk area, use of a BBQ/ fire pit and even gloves at the Elsan disposal point.
Easy walk into town and friendly locals. Would love to stay here again.
Lovely site Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2026 Lovely site. Lucy is welcoming and helpful. Perfect site for dogs. Great location for good walks.

Large Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2026 Lovely site just a short walk from town with a lovely pub, shop and places to eat.
All worth trying as excellent food.
Owner of the site is very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay again 😊
Great site next to the pretty village of Minchinhampton Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 A great place to stop for cycling the Stroud trailway and canal - provided you don't mind some serious hills! All doable on ebikes.
The site itself provides mostly flat pitches with a pleasant outlook. The facilities are all good and well looked after, although quite a long walk if you are on the top pitches.
Slightly annoying that you were asked not to drive to the Elsan point, which would have meant quite a long carry, so we didn't bother. Even more strange considering other vans had to drive past it to get to their pitches.
Minchinhampton is a delightful village full of traditional mellow stone built houses in the typical Cotswold style. The Crown was great for food and the bakery in the square was excellent.
Excellent Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Lovely quiet campsite, short walk into town with a great pub, cafe and a few shops. Spent a relaxing couple of nights and Lucy made us feel very welcome
Loved it. Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 The site is brilliant. The grass pitches were top notch. Showers and toilets were excellent and clean++. Hot water for showers. Lucy (owner) is very helpful with good local knowledge. She recommended we go to the Minchinhampton Social Club. Great advice as they had a Karaoke which was great fun. Local cafe (Henry’s) was really nice for coffee and bacon sandwich etc. The Crown Inn has a really nice beer garden/courtyard.
A fantastic weekend Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 We absolutely loved our weekend at Tobacconist Farm. Excellent location with Minchinhampton town just 5 minutes walk away,
with access to a pub and shops.
The campsite had clean facilities with ample space to park our motorhome.
We will be returning!

Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Superb, spacious site in a really beautiful area. Really good facilities including washing machine and communal fridge/freezer. Very friendly and helpful owners who were really welcoming. And lovely village genuinely only 5 minutes walk away.
perfect stay in the Cotswolds Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Were there second time! We simply love the relaxed and quiet atmosphere in Minchinghampton and on the campsite. The pitches on the right hand side are a bit sheltered by higher grass. Each pitch has its water tap and electric point.
It is a rather small campsites with no frills, but enough showers and toilets, washing up facilities and even a washing machine.
Perfect for a couple of days, by foot or by bike. Don´t miss the Stroud Brewery or the Pub in Amberley
Great Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Loved this site will definitely be returning could not fault it , one of the best ones we have stayed. So peaceful well kept and clean. Short walk into the village and lovely walks around
Lovely facilities and the kettle is a godsend. Recommends site
Small Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 I loved staying here with the donkey and large herd. Easy access to pretty Minchinhampton and the Crown. Also lunches for picnics available here all smashing. Super church too. Plus ADULTS ONLY!
Excellent campsite - we will return. Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 What we loved about this campsite was that it was tucked away with an open field outlook but was also a very short walk to the village which had a pub, village shop, bakery and butchers.
In addition, the pitches were huge, some of them made very private by lovely wildflower banks in between.
The facilities were also excellent in that they were really clean and also each bathroom was private, not communal like most other campsites.
Good kitchen facilities with free use of a fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Lucy and her son Will were very helpful and easy to get hold of.
Fabulous site and facilities Recommends site
Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 We were meeting friends in Nailsworth, which is walkable from Tobacconist Farm site, but also, Minchinhampton is a delightful village.
The site owner is extremely helpful both with the facilities and local history. The spotlessly clean facilities include individual shower/washrooms as well as washing up, a washing machine, kettle and fridge/freezer.
There are two fields for tents and campervans. We were in the paddock which had a bit of a slope but shady trees were welcome. Everything we needed within easy reach. Slight traffic noise during the day, plus some helicopters for neighbouring HRH, but nothing to spoil the birdsong. We are not dog owners, but the wooded dog walk area was a great asset. We will definitely return.
Superb Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 What a little gem, lovely quiet site, beautifully laid out, wonderfully clean and Lucy (owner) was a treasure. Fab little wooded area designated for dogs. Wish we could have stayed a LOT longer. Superbly located and literally 5 mins to the nearest pub with cows wondering past the door! Loved it. We WILL be back
Marcus Stays Recommends site
Small Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 Thank you Lucy - Excellent Service
Third stay and will be booking again Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Our favourite site in the UK; Small, child-free, clean, fuss free; lovely grassed bays with banks between pitches for privacy and noise reduction.
We always use their fire pits and picnic benches. The toilet /shower blocks are modern and spotless. There are donkeys to chat to! The location is slightly out of the village but only a few minutes' lovely walk to the centre for pubs, coffee shops and the Minch Emporium.
Plenty of options walk-wise (recommend The Weighbridge for a great pie) or over the common to the Old Lodge. We love Kate and her site, will be booking again soon.
Fantastic Stay Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Site was excellent and our pitch was spacious. Lucy was great, helpful and on hand. We were first-timers and so she was a great help with some basics!
Minchinhampton is a charming, quirky Cotswold village with a great pub and fascinating people and only a few minutes walk.
