About the site
A welcoming eco site, at the bottom of Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, and five minutes from the coastal village of Aberdyfi! The site's private woodlands are fun to explore and a great place for kids and dogs to let off steam. It is a small, quiet site, by the River Dyfi, offering a peaceful location for your holiday. There are nine touring pitches, all a good size and all with electric hook ups. The four 9m x 6m lower terrace pitches are on a separate gravel area, which is great for all weather conditions. The four upper terrace pitches are on grassier terrain and offer a bit more space. There is also a smaller pitch on its own, suitable for small campervans and small motorhomes only. For family glampers, you can choose from a spacious bell tent, a handcrafted yurt, a converted horse lorry and a geodome. They all have flexible sleeping options, so are great for friends too. For romantic or solo getaways, there's also the cosy woodland cabin or vintage caravan. The glamping accommodations are all individually set up, with their own unique touches. They all have private outside space with seating and a fire pit, perfect for toasting marshmallows! They're fully furnished with proper beds and all bedding included. They have their own well-equipped rustic kitchen, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay without the fuss. The vintage caravan has an electric heater, and the dome, yurt, horse box and cabin have wood burners, so you can have a cosy stay, whatever the weather! The site also has a wood-fired pizza oven, which the owners fire up weekly during the school holidays and on other busy Saturdays throughout the year. Do check in advance if pizzas are on during your stay. Four-legged friends are welcome in all the glamping accommodation, except the vintage caravan, as well as on all touring pitches. Aberdyfi beach has a big sandy beach where dogs can run for miles (and miles!) and has dog-friendly areas all year round. And there are plenty of dog-friendly cafes and pubs afterwards for post-walk refreshments.
Touring pitches and glamping accommodation are available from April until November 2nd. Bell tents are available from May until 20th September. Pitches from £25/night for 2 people.
