Lovely campsite

We really enjoyed our stay here! Quiet and grassy pitches with shady spots available. The facilities were clean and the site served a great selection of pizzas, breakfast items, good coffee and beers. The option to rent campfires was also fun. Walking distance to shops, pubs, a bus stop and polegate train station which made visiting local spots really easy

Great camping site

Had a really brilliant 2 night stay. the Park is generally clean and plenty of space. No pitch so you can set up anywhere. Near town so easy to access local amenities. Highly recommend and will be back soon!

Okay, but not great

Good value for money, particularly as they charge by the person (not a couple) and the staff were friendly. However, the amenities are pretty basic and only just clean and the "15 minutes to the beach" claim is a bit of a stretch - unless driving at 90 mph in the middle of the night! So, overall, okay but I wouldn't go back again and particularly if you're looking for a nice walk.

Perfect for first time solo camper

This was my first time solo camping and I am glad I found this place on my doorstep. It has great facilities and services. The showers are spacious and delivered a good, strong supply of hot water throughout my stay. There are plenty of loos and they are well stocked and cleaned regularly. There is a cute reception and shop selling the camping essentials which came in handy. I needed to buy a new stove and they even had gaffer tape for a split pole! There is a coffee/drinks/breakfast/pizza hut. It offers good value and great quality food and drinks. You can hire fire pits and wood for your stay too, with good disposal facilities. There is a washing up station and plenty of fresh water taps around the site. They have glamping tents which looked very smart. I might give them a go when in a pinch. The site is very big and has great views of the surrounding countryside. It is lovely and quiet even though there were lots of kids and the football was on. People respect the peace of others. The site staff and owners really make it sing... they are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's more like a community. I felt so looked after. I will go back again for sure. My only niggle, the showers were not in the best state on Monday morning. Or maybe it was who I followed in. The drain filter was clogged full of dark hair and I think someone must have washed their dog in there. Most unpleasant. But it might have been just that one and a selfish user. Give this place a go, it's lovely.

Very nice campsite toilets are clean. Showers were clean the only criticism about the showers. They were cold after 10 in the morning but apart from that very nice stay we stayed for two nights, and pizza van was on site and were lovely pizza 🍕

Really friendly owners, and lots to do within a short drive.

We frequented 3 pubs within 30 min walk. The toilets could be improved alongside providing shelves for toiletries whilst showering. The pizzas were delightful and a great positive having food trucks on site

Great location

Brilliantly located off the A27 and close to superb South Downs walks, train station for Eastbourne or Lewes. Great neighbours - oak trees with with woodpeckers yaffling away ❤️

Lovely camping experience

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were good, nice toilets and showers. Great breakfast and Pizza bar. Camping ground was well looked after very flat and good grassy pitches. Would highly recommend.

Will be back

Wonderful campsite all you could need for a pleasant stay. We came in our camper so are on foot or public transport to get around after we set up! Nice but long walk to Eastbourne but that’s our choice! Staff super friendly and could be seen cleaning facilities regularly! We didn’t use on site food etc but if we were there longer would have as looked fab! Will be back!

Brilliant

It was a great relaxing site. Convenient for buses and all the kids on the site loved the space to play. Showers were as expected but so pleased they were there. I would suggest they put a long handled squeegee in the showers so they can be de grassed when you get out. Other than that a brilliant stay with really friendly staff

Nestled into the foot of the South Downs

We weren't blessed with great weather, but enjoyed our stay anyway. Using the fire pit made the evenings cozy, the site is huge, so plenty of space to pitch. The shower situation was a bit hit and miss, it tends to be cold initially, when restarted after the 15 sec interval. Harry and Tom are great hosts, accommodating, cheerful and obviously happy to be there.

A lovely night away

We had a great time away. The site was perfect and the team of staff so friendly and welcoming. The BEST Pizza in the evening! We will definitely be staying again in the near future!

Lovely little campsite

Lovely campsite, close to Polegate and easy access to Eastbourne including Birling Gap. Friendly staff, showers were hot.

Stand out staff

The site was very family friendly but was also great for me and my two mates. Good location, food and facilities. But what really makes this place stand out for me was staff, Harry and Lucy were friendly polite and professional. Would stay here again the future.

Lovely and flat camp site. Staff are super friendly and the food truck is a bonus.

Friendly, calm and clean camping experience.

The camp site is well kept, clean and practical. Catering staff were responsive and knowledgable with allergy awareness. The shop had everything needed for a simple weekend stay. Rules and instructions were clearly posted and communicated.

Lovely, chill atmosphere

Chill and easy place to stay while you visit the local attractions.

Did the job

We needed a place in the area for an overnight stop. It did the job. The weather was good which helped us enjoy our brief stay. The breakfast can was welcome.

Perfect vibes

Good vibes, good price, helpful staff, perfect location, food truck that served class pizzas, breakfast, and bevs. Good amenities! Would return!

Lovely site in a great location

Great location for scenic walks. Staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely campsite and amazing staff

On one particularly cold night, we ran out of logs after reception had closed. We called one of the staff members and they came back out to the campsite, to open the log hut, and get us some more. This was so thoughtful and helpful and it really helped us out! Would definitely come again.

Convenient friendly site

Large flat site with friendly owners. Convenient for trips to Eastbourne, Seven Sisters and beyond. Toilets and showers are basic but the on-site catering for breakfast and evening pizzas are a real plus.
