We had a lovely stay!

Absolute gem of a campsite

We have stayed in many campsites in our campervan, but this has definitely got to be one of the best. The facilities were spotless and the site was peaceful and welcoming and in truly beautiful surroundings. The pitches were generous in size and the owners could not have been more helpful. The location was great too, being within easy walking distance of a beautiful pub and an easy drive from Fowey and Looe. A wonderful find! We will be back!

5 night stay

Excellent location, clean site and super quiet. Only thing I would say, the camping pitch we had was right under a flood light, ok if you're in a caravan but not if you're in a tent like us.

Outstanding Campsite and so friendly

We actually came Moto Camping with our tent and visited Eden Project. From the moment I booked the owners were so helpful when I explained we'd actually be on motorbikes with a tent. We arrived to a wonderfully well maintained site, absolutely wonderful and beyond helpful owners and our pitch was perfect, we even had electric hook up, so we bought a cable specifically so we could charge our helmets comms from that and not a power bank. Really great base to explore the surrounding areas and I would not hesitate to stay again even with a 4 hour journey to get here. We're in fact planning a longer trip but this time in our camper. Definitely do not follow your Sat Nav for the very last part, as we had some impromptu off roading on the very laden bikes, that a van would not appreciate let along probably squeeze through lol.

Tranquility

Absolute tranquility at this site, we travelled down from Nottingham, mainly to visit Eden but location of the site meant we were able to visit quite a few places in the two days we had planned. Lovely staff, particularly the gentleman who showed us to our pitch and gave us such a wealth of valuable information about places to visit and how to get there. Thank you all for a great visit!

Fabulously, clean and quiet site

We had a lovely 1 night stay here. We chose the site as it was advertised as quiet and adults only - it did not disappoint. We had a lovely pitch. The site is immaculate. The facilities were well maintained. The showers were powerful. It was exactly as described and we will definitely stay again. Highly recommended for a thoroughly peaceful getaway.

Quiet haven

Really enjoyed our stay here. A really nice clean quiet site. Maybe a little out the way of most things for us, but that was our mistake, still it was very clean, quiet and peaceful. Would definitely return, if not so many other places to visit.

Short break

We went mid-week before the May Bank Holiday to beat the rush & were not disappointed. The site was immaculate, so well presented a real credit to the owners. The pitch size was prefect for our set up a camper van & awning. The value for money was impressive compared to comparable sites in the area. The shower blocks & toilets were immaculate & clean, whatever time they were used. The bins & recycling areas were always clean & tidy. We'll certainly return to the site again as the owners were so welcoming. The only slight negative was there there isn't much of a shop on site, which not being close to facilities that you could walk to from the site was a little disappointing, but a really great set up apart from that. Well done Eden Valley.

Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We have had a shop in the past but found very few used it hence why we only now stock soft drinks and ice cream. However there is a small farm shop about 10 mins walk in the village and a larger farm shop a 2 minute drive away. I have been know to provide emergency supplies such as washing pods and milk too. Lol.

Happy camper

This is an excellent site extremely clean and well maintained. Staff are courteous and very approachable even offering to come and find us when the Sat Nav took us the wrong way. There are plenty of bin points that also have drinking water and more than one station for chemical waste. Washing up facilities were well equipped as well as the laundry room which had a good selection of books to read. I especially liked the shower facilities having a shower, toilet and basin in each cubicle.

One of the best sites we have stayed at

Staff/owners very friendly and helpful. Both grass and hard standing pitches are level and spacious. Toilet/shower blocks were immaculately clean, with the best showering experience we have ever had at a campsite. Always plenty of hot water. Great base for driving to several National trust properties, plenty of places to visit if driving or cycling. We will definitely be returning.

Weekend break

Fabulous site. Wanted somewhere within easy travelling distance of Eden Project. Great base, easy travelling distance to Fowey, Mevagissey and Padstow. Immaculately clean and very helpful owners. Would definitely visit again.

Really lovely place to stay

Fabulous site, lovely staff who really help us (as motorhome newbies). The shower block was immaculate and the whole site was really well set out. There is a nice pub just up the road too! I would definitely come back!

Lovely adult only site with a great layout

A lovely quiet setting, surrounded by trees. The pitches were set out in groups and surrounded with hedging. The hosts were friendly, spotless facilities and a dog exercise area, whish was an added bonus.

The best yet

Excellent campsite, beautifully maintained. The trees and bushes were a lovely sight. The toilets were so clean, a pleasure to use. We will return.

Tranquil campsite with community feel

A great and friendly campsite, with a community feel which seems to have a lot a regular campers coming back. Always a great sign. The facilities and pitches were excellent. We only stopped for one night, so we were unable to judge the location fully, as we were travelling through.

Very well maintained

Immaculately kept caravan site run by very friendly people. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again if we were planning on another holiday to the area. Toilet blocks were well designed and modern, and clean. Site rules are very strict, including a long list of dog breeds that aren't permitted. The strict rules does lead to it being a lovely place though.

Great site

This is a great site but a little bit out of the way if you're in a motorhome and you need another means of transport.

We do have lots of motorhomes stay with us but unless you have bikes or another car, and don't want to take your motorhome out, unfortunately we do not live near a bus route. We do however, sometimes have taxis come to the site and take people down to our nearest town, Lostwithiel, which is just under 2 miles from us. From here, you can take the train to lots of places around Cornwall. We hope you will come back and stay again. Regards, Ginny.

Nice people, well-run site

Hard pitches for caravans, so mainly caravans and motor homes. Great area to explore- but you need your vehicle. Walk to local pub which is decent. Functional and well-run site.
