Very good

It is a lovely campsite with a generous pitches. All facilities in a very good condition and clean. I liked the football pitch, games room, pub/bar/restaurant, ironing room, swimming pool. It is a very good place as a base for visiting surrounding area. It is a shop, on the site but we were missing fresh baked bread/rolls/baguettes. The swimming pool could be open up to 8 so you could use it after your day trip. On the swimming pool it could be a member of staff (at least from time to time) to remind (children) about general rules. As much, as I like children, having some of them jumping on my head is not what I like. Maybe offer a session for this/or split swimming pool in halves? All members of staff were very friendly and helpful. This campsite is worth a visit :)

First family camping trip

We booked a last minute camping trip, when we say last minute, booked Tuesday night and arrived Friday morning - no tent, no camping equipment and never camped as a family before. As you could imagine, we worried all the way thinking about the disaster we had ahead of us with a 4 year old and 1 year old. However, upon arrival, reception staff were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The pitch was easy to find following the map given and when we arrived, the pitch was bigger than we expected. Easy access to drinking water and electric hook up. Then the facilities were a short walk away, toilets, washing machines, sinks for washing dishes, showers, bar, shop, park and an outdoor heated pool. Everything was very well maintained and the cleanliness was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere was great and had a great trip. We've now been converted into campers and will be returning next year.

Lovely site

Managed to get a late booking for bank holiday weekend. Wasn't sure what to expect however, I was delighted with this campsite, the welcome, the size of pitches, the staff, the pool, the shower and toilets all exceeded my expectations. Thank you Treloy, we will definitely be back.

Lovely site but not enough facilities

Very generous pitch sizes with nice dog field. Pool was a bit too small for the size of the site and gets very busy. Café only opens morning until 12, and evening 5 till 9 which is a shame as no lunch option. Shop does sell pastries if there's any left. Staff are all lovely. We did ask for a pitch near facilities as we have a child with Downs Syndrome but we ended up at quite far away which was a bit disappointing 😞

Yes, we agree at busy times the pool is popular and if you were to come again maybe a quieter time of year would suit you better.

Brilliant stay

Lovely stay, location approx 15 mins from lots of lovely beaches which is exactly what we came for. Shower blocks were very clean and tidy. Only bad point was that the shop on site a little on the pricey side. They wouldn't put us off coming again though, we will just bring more of our own food.

Brilliant site

Just got back from 7 nights of camping at Treloy Touring Park and I have to say that this is the best site we have stayed at. The staff were all super friendly and the overall facilities were excellent. The main toilet/shower block was on par with one that you would expect at a private gym. They must be some of the best in the country. The location of the site was also excellent for getting around the whole of Cornwall. We will be back.

Perfect site

Absolutely perfect site, just finished a 14 night stay and could have stayed longer. Facilities are brilliant, only downside is the shop isn't dog friendly, but that's a minor point! Fantastic site, will return.

Fab family holiday

Lovely, clean campsite with easy access to all facilities, clean and well kept equipment and friendly staff. Our toddler loved the play area and the pool, which also had a quiet adult swim session in the mornings. Our pitch was big and had some privacy with the hedge. Fun quiz night in the bar, close to lots of local beaches and supermarkets. Bit more pricey than some campsites but worth it, would come back again.

Amazing campsite

We have amazing 5 days definitely stay here again. 10* clean and staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly nothing was over priced. The dog enjoyed exercising field and dog shower.

Lovely site

This is our second stay at Treloy and we will return. We came in 2 caravans with our son and his family, so pre booked 2 adjacent hard standing serviced pitches. We'd stayed in Buzzard last year but it was a bit cramped, so we opted for Skylark and weren't disappointed. The only downside was the road behind, but we knew that when we booked. The noise was acceptable however, what we weren't aware of was the fact that the Boardmasters entrance has been changed since last year and now everyone comes down the lane, making it noisy and hard to get out of the site with a caravan. The site is lovely. The toilet blocks are modern and clean, the pool is large and didn't get too busy. The girls loved it! Bingo and quizzes in the evening. The shop has only basic supplies, you'll need to go to a supermarket in Newquay. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment. The dog field at the top of the site is the biggest dog walk I have experienced at any campsite. A new road opened this year through Nansledan so it's even easier to get into Newquay. It's about 20 minutes. We love Fistral and the harbour and we had a few trips to Mawgan Porth which is a 10 minute drive. We parked most days next to the golf club in Newquay. Around £10 for the day and an easy walk to Fistral and the town (you need the RingGo app). Beware of parking in Newquay when Boardmasters is on. Fistral car park is closed which makes everywhere else busy. After spending nearly an hour driving round car parks, we ended up on a drive at £20! We had a Sunday meal at The Falcon in St. Mawgan and would recommend it, but you need to book. Site Wi-Fi is £10.per device per week!. But we have Starlink :)

Yes, you're right, Boardmasters does bring extra traffic to the area and sorry to hear that this affected your stay. Regarding pitches, we do offer a variety of pitch types, as Treloy is spread over 30 acres there is a variety in quieter areas that may be more suitable for you.

Honestly the best campsite we have ever stayed at - incredible facilities and truly dog friendly with the huge, dog exercise field at the top of the site. Thank you.

Great site

Great site - clean, modern and good facilities, including stable Wi-Fi. Less commercial than many sites (e.g. limited evening entertainment) but this results in a lovely family atmosphere and supporting local trade.

A 5 night stay at Treloy with just myself and my daughter

We're just home from a fantastic 5 night stay at Treloy camping park..both the showers and toilets absolutely fantastic and spotless…all the staff were incredibly helpful and informative.. I was a bit anxious as it was myself and my daughter but we both felt completely safe ..we will most definitely be back ..thank you all so very much 💜

Great site

Great campsite, lovely location, the grounds are very well kept. Toilet & showers facilities were fantastic. Most staff were great too (slight issue with reception staff being a bit rude and laughing at us when asking some questions - this was uncalled for!) rest of the staff were all so lovely! Pool was a big hit with the kids, which apparently was very warm!

Great stay

Great place to stay and would definitely be back. The only down side (and this is really a testament to how popular it is) the bar in the evening is just nowhere near you enough to accommodate everyone.

The nicest site I've been to

This is the nicest, cleanest, best equipped place I've been. The owner is a genuine person and clearly cares about your experience. No internet so its £10 for WIFI. RAF camp flies in the day. Newquay is 10 min drive. Two thumbs up.

Lovely site

The site was fantastic, lovely pitches, immaculate shower blocks, pool, facilities all outstanding. Only downside for us was the location, it was a bit far out to be able to walk to different locations. We did walk and bus to Newquay and bike there.

Beautiful title

Site is beautiful and the facilities are good. After everyone had used the showers late at night there seemed to be no hot water left. Happened on a few occasions where me and my family had to have cold showers which wasn't great.

Very nice stay!

Location gives easy access to Newquay. Washrooms are very clean, and it is very convenient that each has individual shower, toilet and washing basin! We'll be back!
