What a cracking site!
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Absolutely great site. Perfect weather did help but it was lovely. Slip and slide on site but when out most of the day, that wasn't an issue and if anything, something (if you have kids) for them to do in the day time so they're not bored. Big tent with a bar open 8 until 8. We were left alone which is how I prefer it and it was great.
Only down point was the bins are located in the middle of where the toilets and showers are and when we arrived, the bins were overfilling. However, we mentioned it to the staff who explained they were having issues with the people who collect the bins. Followed the next morning by the bins being emptied sharpish, so can't complain! As suggestion would be to move the bins to the front area where there's some open gravel ground, fence it off and have the bins there with easier access for any collections and out of the way, but that would be up to the staff :) Other than that, it was great, there was also an honesty box with a room with a fridge, food, snacks, drinks and logs for the fire all reasonably priced.
We had a lovely couple of nights :) Would highly recommend.

Lovely little onsite shop, where you self serve, had most of all you need.
I liked that it was peaceful and chilled in the middle of the country!
Would definitely re visit!
Lovely rural site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Very easy to get to, just off the main road. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of pitches available when I arrived, the owner letting you select where you want to go. Lovely large and level pitches all with Electric Hook up should you choose to use it.
Plenty of toilets, showers and washing up stations (complete with bowls and detergent) as well as a handy laundrette and honesty hut with a few treats and essentials. All clean and relatively well maintained.
Lovely walks around the area as well as being only a short drive from Combe Martin and Ilfracombe and attractions such as the Dinosaur and Wildlife Park and Arlington Court. Certainly a much more 'back to basics' site than some in the surrounding area but with good enough facilities that it still allows for a very pleasant stay.
Friendly, great pitch location with lovely views
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely location with perfect views. Quiet and friendly, being a great base to set up camp. My children enjoyed the park, meeting new friends, purchasing goodies from the convenient shop, and the water slide, specifically when available. Highly rated and recommended.
Basic Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 This is a very basic campsite. Basically a field with basic shower and toilet facilities. There is electricity too. At £30 a night, I feel it is overpriced. I was thinking that if you were to stay a month, that will be £900 to sleep in my tent in a field. That's a mortgage. Camping is not what it used to be anymore.
It's okay though, You are less than 10 min drive from Combe Martin. They have a little shed that they use as a shop with little essentials and snacks and it is really not expensive at all, so that is good. You can have a fire too and again, they have wood and fire pit at a very reasonable price. If it was £20 a night I would rate it highly but at £30, it is overpriced in my opinion.

Great campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Great site, most of the pitches are nice and flat and the facilities are good. We stayed over a bank holiday and it was very busy on Saturday and Sunday. As we stayed on until Tuesday we got to see the site quieter on Monday night and it was a massive improvement. That said it was never too busy in the toilets or showers even with the full site.

The location couldn't be better, Combe Martin local supermarket is only 10 minutes always as are several of the best beaches in UK, Broadmoor Sands, Woolacombe, etc.
Highly recommended - hot showers were clean and had ideal rural camping facilities.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Had a lovely 2 night stay. Facilities well maintained and clean. Honesty shop such a well thought out idea - all the essentials you could need at short notice.
Rocky very welcoming and checked with all campers to make sure all was ok.
Will definitely visit again!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 The best site we have been to, 100% will be returning.
The site is in the middle of all beaches, which are about an average of 30 mins drive. Lovely friendly owner who just pops to the site and says hi to everyone.
The toilets and showers are spotless and there are so many sinks for you to do the pots with the washing up liquid and sponges provided which means there is never a queue for any of the facilities.
Fire pits and benches are there for you to take to your pitch and enjoy with large bags of wood from the trust shop.
The park has a football net and badminton set up with the equipment needed to play available to use when needed.
