Walkable to Shaftesbury, beautiful location. Not tonnes of facilities, but exactly as described. Loos never full. Loo cabin, rather than portaloos. Showers in separate block are a bit dark, as no lighting but just need to time it right. Very peaceful site with nice outlook. The ground is stepped, so lots of flat pitches and opportunity for every pitch to have a good view.

This is a very laid back campsite in a very nice location. The facilities are basic, but are all clean and in good working order. I would definitely return.

Conveniently located to everything you would need. Great campsite with lovely views and well located for walks and chilling at the pub up the road. Toilets and shower were as expected for a farm pop-up campsite. Nice chilled and friendly atmosphere created by the owner, just pitch up wherever and whenever you please. We will be visiting again!

It is a relaxed campsite. Pitch up when you arrive, and later on Jason comes to welcome you and he brought us over a wood burner we had booked online. It was ideal for us to be able to hire a wood burner for a very cheap price! The campsite is set out in layers, which means there is a lovely view to watch sunset. The toilets and washing up facilities are very clean and there are big bins on site for your rubbish. Lots of noisy farm animals! The donkey made us laugh! 10/10

Holyrood Farm Campsite is so peaceful, with just the sound of birds and farm animals, with gorgeous views across the valley. It was an excellent place to switch off and relax for Bank Holiday. Jason was friendly and ensured we were comfortable. We hired a log burner and a large pile of logs. Shaftesbury is just a 10 minute walk away. The food at the local pub is lovely, with friendly staff. We'll definitely visit again!

Real relaxing place to stay I think our favourite campsite we've been to for a while.

Friendly and helpful owner. Modest wash/toilet block and characterful scandinavian-style shower unit - all pinewood walls and slatted floor. Both wash-block and shower have gas-heaters that seems to work just on gas and water-pressure. No mains electricity on the site, so it is all pretty basic but very functional. It is a large grassy field so plenty of space. Shaftesbury is just up the hill, within a 'modest' walking distance.

Great site on a farm, the host was lovely and polite. Flushing toilets and a nice clean shower area, peaceful ad quiet, close to Shaftesbury. Great views of the surrounding area!
