There are a number of grass pitches for tents and tourers, with plenty of space for all. Relax onsite in peace or enjoy a day at the seaside, you'll be just a half an hour drive from Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of Sandbanks and Poole.

A lovely secluded campsite in a countryside setting, surrounded by woodlands with spacious pick your own dog friendly pitches. Overall there are 40 spacious grass pitches measuring 8m x 8m without electric hook up. Each one allows a maximum of six people, and is suitable for tents, campervans and motorhomes and you can pick your own pitch upon arrival. The pitches are set amongst a six acre field, with plenty of remaining space for ball games or just generally hanging out. Cyclists and more energetic walkers can head straight out onto the Castleman Trailway, a 17-mile stretch of disused railway line that leads all the way to Poole or the New Forest, and also joins other national cycle network routes. Boots or bikes are a given, so you can get out onto all those local trails, into the local River Stour with your paddleboard. A maximum of three dogs are allowed per pitch at an additional cost, just please keep them on the lead and under control at all times. Raised BBQs and campfires are permitted. Wood and fire pits are available to hire on site. Campfires are not allowed during extremely hot periods.

Walking is available directly from the site without having to negotiate any roads, and it's also worth chucking your golf clubs in the car as the Ferndown Forest Golf Club is about 800 metres away on foot through the forest.
Treat the kids to a day out and Let them pick from Farmer Palmer's Farm Park, the water slides at Splashdown waterpark, the friendly cartoon characters of Peppa Pig World or animal antics at Monkey World. All are within a 45-minute drive. or locally in Wimborne is the Model Town, 10 minutes away.
It's a half-hour drive to the Dorset coast from here - set your sights on Bournemouth or Sandbanks for a sweep of sandy beaches, or head to Poole Quay for boat trips to the nature reserve on Brownsea Island.
