About the site
Whether you're looking for an action-packed holiday for the whole family, or a quiet romantic break for just the two of you, this site has got you covered. The pods are within a 40 minutes drive of Northumberland National Park, the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and Hadrian's Wall, as well as having an outdoor bath, amazing dark skies, and idyllic countryside views. On this family-run farm there are two glamping pods for you to choose from, Cedar sleeps up to six guests while Willow sleeps up to four, apart from that the pods are very similar inside. There is also a glamping cabin and a holiday cottage onsite. Both pods have a double bed and a double sofa bed towards the front of the pod, and Cedar has the addition of bunk beds behind the double bed's headboard. High-quality bedding and linen is provided so there is no need to pack your own. The pods are fully insulated so that you can stay snug all year round, no matter the weather! You will also have underfloor heating to keep you cosy. There is also an arched window above the double bed so you can enjoy the amazing dark skies all tucked up! The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, kitchen sink, two ring hob, microwave, toaster, and, kettle. There is even a dishwasher so you don't need to think about the dishes! You will also have a Freeview TV and WiFi. Towards the back of your pod you'll find your ensuite with a flushing toilet, a sink with vanity unit, hot water shower, and a heated towel rail. You will be provided with fluffy towels and complementary hand and body wash. You'll be provided with complementary tea, coffee, and sugar supplies, plus a welcome pack with refreshments. The pod will have cleaning products and hand sanitizer for your peace of mind. The pods also have activity packs with colouring sheets and games. Outside your pod is a spacious porch area with seating, perfect for watching the sunset or spotting your favourite constellations. There is also a grass area in front of each pod for games. Round the side of your pod you'll find a fire pit which can be hired and an outdoor bath, whether you're soaking the day away or toasting marshmallows it is the perfect way to spend your evenings! Sorry, dogs are not allowed at this site due to it's working farm location. You're welcome to hire the fire pit outside your pod, there is also a BBQ hut available to hire if you wish to cook up some burgers and sausages! Please note, that the site asks guests to not wander around the site unaccompanied or without permission due to farm machinery in operation.
