It's a perfect spot for walking and cycling, with just a short walk to Cheddar. Dogs are welcome.

We stayed in the Tawny bell tent for 2 nights in March along with our dog (who was welcomed with a dog bed and bag of treats/goodies)!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by our super super friendly and informative host. The grounds and tent itself were absolutely gorgeous; the little touches of fairy lights, a muddy boot box, a welcome pack of local treats and so so much more completed our stay - we felt truly welcomed & at home. With a secure dog field on site it was super handy to let the hound loose for zoomies before setting up for the evening with a campfire (wood provided). Beautiful walks surround the grounds too. We had a truly magical and relaxing stay and will definitely return!

Wonderful campsite with everything you could possibly want. The owners are so friendly and helpful and welcomed me with gift packs of local cheese. The area is stunning, with great walks and beautiful views across the Cheddar Gorge.

This is a lovely little glamping site, it was super clean and had every facility we needed. We had two dogs and the extra treats and ball were a lovely touch. Our stay was during the mini heatwave so it was hot and there is a limited amount of shade but we would love to come back and make use of log burner and blankets. Short walk into Cheddar so it was an ideal location.

Our stay at Owley Woods was brilliant. Our tent overlooked rolling hills and was so idyllic being set away from Cheddar but close enough for a short walk in. Walks from the site are easy to find and Paula was quick to recommend some to us. She was really friendly and chatty and her cat Max decided to sit with us for a warm afternoon which made our day. I would recommend a stay here to anyone. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Had an amazing couple of nights around the firepit, gazing up at the stars from our hammock. Loved the fact that we could do great walks without getting in the car. The facilities were spotless and high quality. Everything was thought of and the complimentary cider and tea/coffee/milk was appreciated. Slept beautifully in the belle and didn't want to leave! Thank you ๐

My sister and I had an excellent weekend here. It is a beautiful location, quiet yet close enough to walk to town and explore all the wonderful tourist areas you go to Cheddar to visit. The tents themselves were gorgeous and well decorated, with everything you could need. The toilets and shower facilities were warm and clean, and the small kitchen areas were great and we couldn't have needed more. Paula was an excellent host, informative, helpful and always available when we needed her. No complaints or anything I would want to change. Looking forward to coming back in the summertime with friends!

We had a wonderful stay in this relaxed, calm and peaceful site. The tent was well equipped with a very comfortable bed and everything we needed for our stay. The toilets and showers were modern, clean and plenty of hot water. We used the fire pit and wood stove once due to poor weather. We walked to the Gorge, into Cheddar to visit shops and plenty of cafes/restaurants. Lovely host Paula made us feel very welcome and provided complimentary milk, tea and coffee on arrival. The 'cheats' kitchen has kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer. Board games, cards and outdoor games all provided. Highly recommend a stay if you want peace and quiet.

Really beautiful accommodation- set back in a lovely and quiet location. Only fault was the noise of the rain and sheep, which the owner wasn't at fault for! Nice touch that dogs can come at no extra cost & the king size bed/bedding is much nicer than standard sites. Even though it was cold, you didn't feel it during the night. Owner went above & beyond and all the little touches of the place really went far - such as the eco toilet paper/environmentally friendly products, hot water bottles, and the complimentary cider/honey/fire logs etc.

Lovely location, everything amazing. We own a cafe so for once it was nice to relax for the first time in nearly 10 years (we never find time to get away). Owner really friendly, canโt fault it at all.

An amazing glamping site. The facilities are first class. The attention to detail is superb. The owner, Paula is fantastic, friendly and very helpful. The beautiful surroundings compliments the site and offers fabulous walks. The site is well with a visit. Bonus of allowing dogs too.
