We decided to visit this campsite for our first family camping trip. We visited with a toddler and a new-born and had an excellent time. We will be going again. The play ground was well maintained and had lots of different things to play with, the facilities were well maintained with 4 family bathrooms, the cafe was stocked with essentials and the staff were friendly. Would highly recommend for families with kids.
Happy campers!

This is a great campsite with a very happy, well loved vibe! There is so much attention to detail, from the grass and wild flower pitch dividers to the large planters full of flowers. The facilities are immaculately clean and plentiful to meet demand. On this visit we didn't use the cafe or the shop but it was good to see them being well used and appreciated. It is a lovely site to wander around with a dog walking field, wildflower walk, picnic tables and an attractive, (well fenced) pond. I'm sure we will return to Haw Wood Farm to enjoy this beautiful part of Suffolk some more.

We stayed at Haw Wood for two nights and had a great stay despite the rain. The facilities are very clean and have power points for hair dryer etc. Takeaway food is available and you can hire a fire pit although we had our own. We stayed the furthest point from the facilities, but it was still only a 3-4 minute walk. Our pitch was a good size and very quiet. We hope to return.
Perfect quiet getaway

This campsite is a hidden gem! We loved the greeting and being shown to our pitch. All pitches were a decent size and clearly marked. The facilities were clean, modern and ample. The play park was also an added bonus. At night the site was very quiet. There is a shop and cafe on site and two minutes away is two magpie bakery which is amazing!

This is the 2nd time we stayed at Haw Wood, upgraded this year to an electric pitch. It's such a lovely peaceful location. Bathrooms, showers and washroom facilities are so well maintained. The little on-site store provides all the basic bits & bobs you forget to bring. Really nice coffee. This year we discovered and explored the enclosed dog-walking field, which is perfect. There's also a beautiful woodland walk along the side of the field/campsite, which takes you (eventually) onto the road, from whence you can carry on for another half a kilometre and reach Two Magpies Bakery, just in time for breakfast. The campsite is perfectly centrally located to reach several of nearby towns, villages and beaches, like: Dunwich, Southwold, Halesworth, Saxmundam, and many more. In the morning - you can hear the dawn chorus, at night owls and foxes. If you want to escape to the wild for a while, this is the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at this excellent site. There were lots of places to visit within a reasonable distance, but it was not on a bus route. The site was immaculate - incredibly well tended. The pitches, especially the standard ones, were a very good size. It was slightly disappointing that we were unable to choose our own pitch. The staff were very welcoming. The shop was only open at specific hours, but we visited in low season, so that was no problem. Toilets/showers were spotless. The nearby firing range was particularly busy on one day, and that became quite disturbing after a while.

Almost faultless campsite. Immaculate showers/toilet/laundry area. Nicely kept site with good space for any type of camping rig. Two flaws however. Frosty, unfriendly receptionist - almost rude! No Wi-Fi - except within 10ft of the Reception block. Otherwise, a good experience and not a reason not to stay there.

Had a lovely stay here for two nights. Very quiet (off season). Toilets and showers were spotless and warm, with music! Location great for visiting most of Suffolk.

A very clean and tidy site. Peaceful location. Showers and toilets well presented, clean and warm. We went out of season so café and shop closed, but that's doesn't matter as café and shop available down the lane from the farm. The dogs loved it, plenty of places to go.

A lovely campsite with a great welcome from the hostess. Later we met Dan, who too was very friendly and gave us ideas on where to cycle. The gusting winds and rains from storm Bert did little to dampen our time there and indeed, we think the hedging behind our fully serviced hand standing pitch (very well appointed!) protected us rather well! We had 2 full days during which we walked one day and cycled the next. Many thanks to the owners!

An excellent site. We took our touring caravan for a weekend break. There were outstanding toilet and shower facilities and a nice level, fully serviced pitch. The site also has a small shop selling all the essentials and a cafe. Upon our arrival, the lady who greeted us was very friendly and informative. She also gave us a discount voucher for the Fox public house nearby, which we used for a fabulous meal out on our first evening. Highly recommend.

Lovely arrival greeting, and great size plot. The showers were hot and spotlessly clean, I have a strange floor phobia and would ordinarily have to wear flip flops in strange places, but even I felt comfortable without them. The site was kept tidy and beautifully rural. If I was being picky, I would say a bit more lighting en route to the toilets. It's pitch black at night but I used a torch, so it wasn't detrimental. Would highly recommend it!

The staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The washrooms are clean and modern and the café/shop is also good. I can't fault this peaceful campsite, which is well located for the surrounding area to explore. We will definitely return to it and would recommend it to anyone.

First day, no hot water in shower block. Next morning, Elsan toilet facility full and won't be emptied for 24-48 hours which caused me and others a real problem. Had to come home with a full cassette.
Awesome hosts! We will be back

Second time we have visited, and apart from the weather and a snoring neighbour, we had a lovely time. The camp is perfectly located to explore the Suffolk coast, and you can easily get elsewhere due to the local road network. Halesworth is definitely worth a visit, and Dunwich, Southwold and Aldeburgh are close by.
