About the site

Book a stay at this six acre family friendly camping and touring base situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens, with its own pub attached serving home cooked meals using locally sourced produce and ales, plus sports on the big screen. Guests can enjoy an onsite heated outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), a pool table, and a gym too. The site is home to 25 non electric grass pitches for tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. Alternatively, you can opt for an electric grass pitch equipped with a 6 amp electric hook up also for tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. You will also find two electric hardstanding pitches that don't allow awnings and five hardstanding pitches that do. These are equipped with a 6 amp electric hook up and are suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. If you fancy venturing beyond the site, Spalding is a 25 minute drive away, Boston is 30 minutes, or head over to King's Lynn a 35 minute drive from the site. Dogs are welcome onsite and in the pub!

Camping facilities include a unisex shower block with three showers and separate male and female toilet blocks. Showers cost 20p a minute so please bring change, they accept £1 or 20p coins. The female toilet block includes a unisex disabled toilet. Outside the shower block are washing up facilities and a chemical waste disposal point.

Free WiFi is provided in the pub, but signal strength can vary. Live music, Halloween parties, bingo, and Bungee Jumping are also hosted onsite throughout the year.

The rear bar features a pool table and opens out onto covered seating and patio spaces. The outdoor area includes a large covered patio, spacious beer garden, children's playground, outdoor gymnasium, games room, outdoor heated swimming pool (open March to December) and a sheltered smoking area.

The games room inside features arcade machines, table tennis, table football, air hockey, plus a vending machine providing snacks and drinks.

The Famous Farmshop is a five minute drive away,and there is also a Tesco, Aldi, and Sainsbury's, a ten minute drive by car.

We were a couple with a dog and only stayed one night, but we had a lovely time. We didn't venture off site so cannot comment on surrounding location, but the site was nice and perfect for those with younger children, offering a play park and pool (under cover) with somewhere for parents to sit and watch whilst enjoying a drink from the pub. Nice big space to camp in too, again with plenty of room for children to play games or ride bikes. Pub food and drinks were reasonably priced and varied. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. They show sport on lots of screens, including an outdoor one at the pub and have seasonal entertainment. Well run site, perfect for families but also couples. Pool, pub and play park all together but some camping available away for this, if you were looking for something quieter. Very dog friendly - allowed inside pub.

Had a fab couple of days, really laid back camp wasn't too busy. The main attraction was the pool kept the teenage kids entertained both days. Ate at the pub at night, food was ok and reasonable price. Toilets and shower's was clean, you pay 20p a min for the shower.
