Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesSep 2025

We had a good few days at this site. It's in a good location for nearby walks, there's a good playpark for the kids and the swimming pool is good if it's raining. It did however have a jacuzzi which wasn't working which would have been nice in the cold weather. The pub on site has food which can be taken away, but doesn't accept walk ins, only bookings. Reasonably priced and there was entertainment across the weekend we visited. The kids game room was fairly rubbish. Machines eating money and nothing actually working. The pool table side was completely removed and the balls once potted came flying out the side. It's an accident waiting to happen really. The pitch we had was close to the barrier coming in and the only downside I'd say was there was water pooled at the back beside the electrical and water point. It smelled really sulphury at points and wasn't pleasant. I used my own caravan shower, so can't comment, but my wee boy said the shower was warm. Not much else to report. Staff at reception helpful and really friendly. Had made sure we had all info on what was happening and how things were run, so 5 stars for them. All In all, I think we would come back in the hope that the games room and pool facilities were in better order.

Site's response

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay overall — especially our location, playpark, swimming pool, and the friendly service from our reception team. We really appreciate your honest feedback about the jacuzzi, games room, and the issue near your pitch. Your comments have been passed along to our maintenance and management teams so we can address these points and improve for future visits. We're glad to know you’d consider coming back, and we hope that next time everything will be in perfect working order to make your stay even better. Thanks again for your thoughtful review!

Great site, great wee break
