Spur of the moment trip
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 Although we didn’t stay the whole night (daughters first time and wouldn’t settle) we will definitely be back. Staff friendly, shower and toilet block clean.
Great for a quiet break
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 The set up for touring motorhomes and caravans was good, with each hardstanding pitch having its own water supply and 16 amps electric hook up.
Both our mobiles are on the EE network and there was zero service, so great if you really want a quiet getaway without access to social media etc.
The facilities were really good and very clean when we arrived, however, a couple of hours later the toilets in the gents were disgustingly dirty. I see no fault in the management, rather the clientele who think it's acceptable to leave them in that condition after use, especially as each cubicle had the necessary gear to clean up after yourself if need be.
They were spotless again the following morning so well done to the staff.

Had our tea at a local pub Black Bull which we would definitely recommend.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2026 I went on a campervan road trip through Scotland with my husband and my baby, and I was looking for a place to stay for the last night of the trip.
I wasn't familiar with the park, but it was conveniently located for our itinerary and reasonably priced.
I had to arrive after check-in hours, and the staff were very helpful and friendly in trying to sort out the situation for me! It's a quiet spot with all the accessibility features we needed.
I highly recommend it!

Not peaceful Roof Tent - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Stayed May bank holiday Sunday.
On arrival place seemed peaceful, short-lived as we made our way to a slightly claustrophobic camping area where we were placed right next to the children's play park. Very tight pitch between a party tent and caravan awning for our roof tent. Quite noisy 'till late but within time noise limits. Experience yielded what I expected the next morning. A 6:15am alarm call from noisy neighbours slamming doors and then an electrician with power tool (connecting new chalets) at 8am. Great for families but not our cup of tea.

Good camping in nature
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst aan de receptie. Mooi duidelijk afgebakende vrij vlakke plek voor de camper.. Sanitair was voldoende en zalig verwarmd. Locatie uitstekend om de omgeving te exploreren. Voor de kinderen is er centraal een met hout omheinde speelplein..
Our stay VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Our stay was in a stunning location, the facilities were good and staff friendly and helpful.
However, when we arrived after a 6 hour drive, our spot was taken by a caravan which looked to have been there a while. We were put in another spot but the hook up was broken, so again moved. The area for camper vans/caravans was ok but the awning had to be put on stones which was uncomfortable under foot. Although the positives were great, it is not somewhere we would stay again.
Quiet location
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Campervan/ caravan area was having work done so electricity was on and off, and there was a concern soon after we arrived that we might have to leave if it didn't come back on. but all ok in the end. toilets and shower block nice and warm. Had to pay for Internet to separate service, which kept buffering.

Brilliant family stay
Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 We have just left our stay within the park, and I am sure we will be back again soon! Brilliant park for family’s, fully serviced pitches which surround a decent play park making it perfect for kids and parents alike. Short drive into Aberfoyle with plenty to do. The staff were absolutely lovely, the shop was well stocked and even with the site being fully booked, come 10pm at night it is completely quiet. One of the best parks we have been to!
