About the site

With the River Gwydderig running right alongside the glamping pods, this picturesque family friendly site is ideally located in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, offering guests a relaxing escape to the countryside! The site is home to four ensuite glamping pods, three of which are dog friendly and one of which has enhanced access. The glamping pods sleep up to four guests with a double bed and double sofa bed. Egyptian cotton bedding and towels are provided for the double bed only. However, if you require bedding for the sofa bed, this can be added as an optional extra. The pods have underfloor heating and double glazed windows and come with an ensuite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen area with a sink, fridge, gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. Cooking basics such as oil, salt and pepper, along with a welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and Welsh cakes are provided! Inside is also a fold-out dining table, TV and DVD player with a supply of board games and DVDs. Outside guests can enjoy a private decking area with seating and views of the river. Each pod has a private parking space outside. The site is also part of a camping and caravan park with a range of grass and hardstanding pitches, and guests will have access to its facilities, including a children's playground and a dog walking area! If you're hoping to explore the local area, there is so much to explore nearby. Brecon is a 30 minute drive away, and the quaint town of Carmarthen is a 45 minute drive. If you're hoping to bring your pup along, three of the pods are dog friendly, with one dog welcome to join you. For those after dinner al fresco, open fires and BBQs are only permitted in fire pits provided by the site. These are available to hire on arrival.

Each glamping pod has its own ensuite bathroom and a designated parking space next to the pod. WiFi is available across the site for an additional fee.

As the glamping pods are located on a caravan and camping park, guests have access to the site's additional facilities. These include family rooms with a baby changing table, an accessible bathroom, and a camper's kitchen with a fridge/freezer and laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. All bathrooms have hand and hairdryers inside.

There is also bike storage, EV charging points, a children's playground and a dog walking area onsite.

Perfect get away. Never been glamping before but now we are converts. All you need and more in the cosy compact pods. When heating on, very very cosy. Dog hook on decking which proved a life saver as our Baxter was able to have walk around the pod and have a good sniff with his long lead. Bed so comfy. All that you could need is provided plus more, biscuits a lovely treat with my cuppa. Immaculate site, in side and out, and was quiet which was what we wanted. Co op 5 min walk away, town few more minutes. Lovely little town. For dog walkers, you must go to Cwm Rhaeadr Forest. The waterfall walk is the best... 3 mile walk later and 1 shattered dog who slept the rest of the night.
