Glamping Pod - Bracken Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub Jul 2026 We booked the The Paddock Pods last weekend for a mini-moon and definitely weren't disappointed.
Firstly, for being basically in a field, the pod was absolutely spotless! There wasn't even a cobweb in sight, and the whole place just felt cosy and was immaculate. You could tell there was a lot of care and attention to detail put into the pods, down to the reading literature in the bathroom which I thought was a hilarious addition!
I messaged Sheree the night before we arrived to ask if it was too late to add breakfast on for the morning after and she managed to pull everything today for us checking in and I can honestly say, it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. My husband cooked it on the BBQ (which was supplied) and we sat and dined alfresco. All the ingredients were so fresh and all locally produced and simply delicious.
The site itself was so quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was amazing to relax in, with nothing but the sound of nature surrounding us. I would definitely be recommending the site to people and hope to book up another weekend soon.

Best romantic escape
Glamping Pod - Bracken Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub Jul 2026 This was the most amazing and romantic getaway we could have wished for. It was a complete secret surprise for me, and I honestly couldn't have imagined a more perfect place.
The Bracken log cabin is set in a beautiful, peaceful location and was spotlessly clean from the moment we arrived. Every little detail had been thought of. The hot tub was already warmed up and ready to enjoy, there were fresh flowers in the cabin, fresh eggs waiting for us, cosy dressing gowns for relaxing outside, and even a fire pit and barbecue. It truly had everything we needed for a luxurious and relaxing weekend away.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, with beautiful, high-quality bedding that made our stay feel even more special. The whole cabin felt warm, welcoming and exceptionally well looked after.
What made this stay even more unforgettable is that we got engaged during our weekend here. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we couldn't have chosen a more magical setting for such an important moment.
We genuinely couldn't fault a single thing. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic escape. We would absolutely love to return one day, perhaps to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Calm and charming accomodation at The Paddock
Glamping Pod - Bracken Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub Jun 2026 The Paddock Pods at Homeland are in a nice area, the campsite is quiet and the pods are near well grown trees, that together with the outdoor sitting area will give you plenty of relaxing time.
The outdoor wood-fired hot tub is fantastic for a more relaxing evening.
The host is really welcoming and helpful in providing everything you need, The Pod has all the necessities for a nice stay and there are plenty of places you can visit.
The seaside is at close reach, cliffs at Flamborough are at 30-40min, York at 1h; there is plenty to do both to stay local for a calm holiday and wondering around the area and to move a bit further to visit lovely locations around East Yorkshire.
I would definitely recommend having a stay at The Paddock.
