Great campsite, had a lovely time and would go again
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 We had a lovely time camping in the non-electrical tent field. We could pitch up wherever we wanted to.
The field is large enough to have plenty of your own space. The staff were very kind and helpful.
The facilities could do with updating but still clean and usable. The showers were a tap, which is a lot better than the button mechanism we have seen in other campsites. Washing up facility was fab! In a little room next to the toilets and family room.
The lodge was great, really nice to have a live singer on Saturday evening. Loved the animal trail!
Would definitely recommend for couples and great for families with kids.

Motorhome - Small Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 All amenities on site, including a small reception/shop and on site clubhouse/bar.
There is also an indoor heated swimming pool which the kids loved! Food of an average standard, if a little pricey. Toilet/shower block in clean order & hot, but the showers are fixed with no wand.
10 mins from Cheddar Gorge. Enjoyed our stay!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Brilliant family campsite. Had a grass pitch with electric point, which was the perfect size for our family tent.
The children loved the play area and the shop was well stocked. Lovely and clean ladies' facilities. Unfortunately, the men's weren't quite as nice. Would definitely return if in the area again.

Showers were clean and plenty of hot water. Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to very high winds throughout the night, which was too much for our awning, will definitely return.

Could be nicer VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 The staff were very helpful. One of the fields isn't great as it's got flat areas and areas that have slopes you wouldn't want to take your car down.
The shower block was dated and grubby. Cobwebs on the windows and behind the toilet doors. Soap dispensers leaked over the work tops by the sinks. Under the sink area was dusty.
Bit of TLC and it would be loads better.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Fabulous campsite. Facilities are top top and staff are helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the Lodge bar and restaurant. The food was good and happy people all around.
Amazing site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Lovely facilities, friendly staff and great to have a bar onsite. Someone pitched up in our pitch number but the staff were happy to upgrade our pitch without hesitation. Definitely returning.
Weeks stay
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026 First time in the area. Bus stops outside the gates to Weston Super Mare and Wells. On site bar with entertainment.
Fabulous stay from start to finish. Staff were superb and went above and beyond. Definitely recommend and would certainly stay again

Amazing weekend away
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2026 Shame the pool wasn't open but had a fantastic weekend. The showers were so lovely and warm and clean. The pitch size was so generous. We'll definitely be back for longer next time.
Lovely little spot
Motorhome - Plus Grass Pitches Mar 2026 A lovely little place to stay with a warm indoor pool, great staff and wonderful value for money, delicious food in the bar.
Very clean toilets and showers, staff go above and beyond for guests and will happily accommodate any changes if they are able.
This was our 2nd visit and we will be back soon!
Nice stay, can be noisy
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2026 Nice site. Not very good for dog walking though. You could only really walk around the site and as dogs had to be in a lead all times, there's nowhere for them to run.
Also there is a kennel or something up the road with very loud dogs continuously barking through the night. It became a nuisance and our neighbouring caravan was not happy about the disturbance either.
Nice people though. Showers and toilets very clean. Bar good, food good, although only open on weekends. Nice place for a short stay. The noise of those dogs can get irritating though.

What a little gem
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Dec 2025 We wanted somewhere to stay for a few nights while our lounge was being decorated. We were so lucky to find this campsite.
There is an excellent bus service right outside the entrance with buses going to Wells and in the opposite direction right up to Weston-Super-Mare. We didn't visit the onsite clubhouse or the swimming pool but we did see the menu for the restaurant which looks comprehensive and good value.
We will be returning sometime soon.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2025 Lovely site, clean facilities and friendly staff. Nice food options in the restaurant/bar. Views from the site had potential, but were sadly blocked from view by mist and rain during our stay.
Good WiFi across the site. Nice looking playground for younger children. Small swimming pool. Snooker table for older children.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2025 Pleasant site with views and dog friendly. Very clean. Easy to register and find our plot.
Utilities were within an easy walking distance, although the toilets and showers looked 'tired', they were exceptionally clean and the shower was strong and hot.
Highly recommend and good value for money.
Annual holiday
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Nice and well kept site, showers and toilets were very clean.
Great location for the lovely city of Wells and the attractions. Quiet site and the staff were friendly, we will definitely be returning in the future.
The only thing that lets it down is no footpaths to walk to the local pubs, but apart from that we had a great time.
