Well kept lovely flower borders and lawns

Because we had a super pitch, we tend not to move our motorhome once settled in. This makes the site a bit out of the way as you have to take everything you need with you, unless you have a separate vehicle to visit local sites. A shop on site might be nice. We enjoyed the spa but I have been to some spas that offer the option of a light tea in an afternoon after a swim and relax just outside the pool with cream tea! Staff very friendly and helpful .Great site if you eat in the restaurant and use the spa, but you still need a good book to read. Wi-Fi and TV excellent.

Great site

Great site no problems. Only one thing is it could do with a little shop, yes you might get the people from the village coming in, but that's extra money. The site is great, the people are friendly and polite - I would go back.

July vacation

We were really impressed with the whole site. The warden was very welcoming and hard-working. Facilities were top-notch. Bar and food very good. For the first night, the road noise was noticeable but after that, not. We would book again and look forward to it.

Our stay

We found the site very easily accessible from the A55, which we were able to use to visit lots of places. The site itself although quiet was very impressive, great facilities, clean, well kept and the wardens were outstanding - always available to assist if needed.

Beautiful, peaceful site

Very friendly wardens - nothing too much trouble. Beautiful grounds. Excellent heated toilet and shower facilities. Well kept pitches. On-site restaurant food delicious. Didn't use the spa, but will definitely be back to try that. Location is perfect for exploring north Wales & so easy to get to.

Great site, lovely stay

Stayed for three nights and made a nice little nook for ourselves on camping pitch one. Very reasonable prices for three nights. Love that's it's adult only as the site was very tranquil and relaxing. Shower/ toilet block is the best one I've experienced on a campsite. Water stays warm and you can hear the music from the spa behind it so it makes showering a lovely and relaxing experience. The spa itself is very nice, clean and modern. All the staff across the site are friendly and welcoming, the food in the restaurant is excellent as well. Would 100% stay again.

Lovely place to stay

A great place to stay. Very scenic. Spacious pitches. Take an extra long hose pipe for water connection. No local shops. Lacks laundry facilities. Jimmy, the warden is really helpful and a lovely bloke.

Great stay

1st experience of a campervan holiday. Rhuallt was our 1st overnight stay and we feel like we've been spoilt. Site excellent. Lovely shower/toilet block, clean, warm, good showers and hot water. Pleasant & helpful staff came to greet us on arrival. Small, but well kept dog walk with plenty of poo bins around. Good information sent out prior to arrival. Nice dog friendly pub/restaurant on site. Good food. Only downside was an occasional smell of sewerage.

Excellent Site

Really lovely campsite with excellent facilities. The showers/toilets were very clean and spacious. The restaurant on site is fabulous and the food was amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this site and we'd go back.

Lovely site

Excellent facility, not many camping pitches but great if you can get one. Toilets and showers are excellent, warm when you walk in with relaxing music playing. Really good pitches with electric, personal water supply & BBQ. Staff very nice. Excellent site.

Nicely laid out, friendly site

We arrived on site and were able to immediately set up on pitch, as the pitch number and barrier code had been given to us prior to arrival. Easily set up as pitches are fully serviced, so we took advantage of the on site restaurant and had a couple of drinks and excellent food before returning to the caravan and fully settling in. We decided on the evening of 2nd night that we would extend our stay, which was easily done and paid for by visiting the friendly wardens office, who was more than happy to help us. It is an adults only site once you pass the barrier, although children are allowed in the separate restaurant that is at the front of site.

Week away

Fantastic site, quiet with lovely views. We stayed here for 5 nights. The site was clean. The staff were friendly. The grass behind the caravan was quite boggy and wet. Not good when the water and electric is there! Constantly muddy. Other than that, I'd recommend the site.

Thank you for your review! Yes, we are aware of the problems when the grass is wet and boggy. We are planning to either move the electric and water post into the corners of the pitch, or create a concrete area around the pitch to access the water and electric. Very well designed and high quality

Extremely high standard and a fantastic restaurant and spar nearby. It was a very relaxing couple of days for my wife and I.

Another great visit

We always make a point of staying there, lovely site with the restaurant, bar and spa to hand. Shower block was very clean, hot water plentiful even when busy. Great, helpful wardens with all the answers, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you, definitely our favourite site.

Our September stay

Very clean and well kept site, good location to visit Prestatyn, Abergele and various places in North Wales. Yes, you can hear traffic as a background noise, but the sheep are louder! Neither bothered us in any way. There was a wedding event on the Saturday night, so we went for a drink in The White House. £5 a pint, so not too bad and enjoyed the atmosphere. Went to bed at 10:30pm as we can't do late ones anymore, and we're never bothered by the party. All in all, I would recommend this place..

Amazing campsite, lovely and quiet. Clean shower and toilet block with fab powerful showers. Landscaping is impeccable and the restaurant serves delicious food 😊

Absolutely perfect!!

Firstly a HUGE thank you to Gill and Steve!! We absolutely loved staying here. Originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 9 nights in total. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Nice, peaceful, clean site. Bonus having electric and water hook up on the pitches. Site has everything you need toilets, showers, laundry, outdoor sink to wash up. We can not wait to come back. Location is ideal as a base for exploring North Wales. Thanks again!! 😊

Site beautifully maintained but felt a little impersonal

Lovely site, clean and beautifully kept. However, we did not see anybody on arrival, which felt a bit impersonal to us. We did later meet the warden who was lovely. No shop. Restaurant and spa lovely, but very expensive. Spa was £20 per person for 2 hours. Restaurant great, but food a little too fancy - fantastic produce would have been nicer, in my opinion, served classically.

Relaxing, quiet site

The site is excellently maintained and spotlessly clean. The site spa and facilities we didn't use but always looked busy so that says it all. It is a little bit in middle of nowhere so great for relaxing and unwinding. It has easy access to the main road to allow day trips out in car to various places.
