Thornbrook Barn is easily accessible from the A65 yet enjoys a tranquil rural location, right on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's a warm and friendly site with all hardstanding electric pitches, some of which are full serviced. For glamping, there are three luxury ensuite glamping cabins each with a hot tub. The famous Waterfalls Trail at Ingleton is just a 15 minute walk away, along with the charming village of Ingleton.

This site was immaculate, from the maintenance of the grounds to the cleanliness of the facilities. The information received via email prior to arrival contained everything we needed, including pitch number and automatic barrier entrance via number plate recognition. The site is within easy walking distance of a pub and Ingleton village, where we commenced the circular walk of the Ingleton falls. This cost £10 per adult, it was difficult underfoot in parts but wearing sturdy walking boots helped. We only stayed for 2 nights, but there are lots of walks and cycle routes in the area.

Lovely site, well laid out (map of site and location directions were excellent). Facilities were immaculate (better than some 5* we've stayed in). Located in walking distance for the village and local pub, also, Ingleton waterfalls and white scar caves. Would definitely recommend and hope to revisit.

Very tranquil, peaceful site. Very clean toilets and showers. Amazing views of Yorkshire peaks & limestone crags. Excellent location for walks - close to Ingleton for the waterfall trail and Ingleborough peak. We enjoyed an excellent meal at The Marton Arms pub, a ten minute walk away. Was great having your own water supply next to your pitch. We will be back!

Lovely, quiet site. Close to Ingleton and waterfalls walk, short walk. Wi-Fi is poor but didn't affect out stay. Washing and toilet facilities were very clean and well thought out. Great dog exercise area too. We would return again.

This is a fantastic campsite, It is very clean, lovely spacious pitches, all areas well tended, the shower block and all other facilities are so clean, warm and bright. In a lovely location, good walks, good places to eat in walking distance and 10% off in the Country Harvest Shop just over the road. 10 out of 10 campsite!

Site beautifully laid out and kept clean and tidy. Shower block was adequate. We never saw anyone from the site so felt it was quite impersonal. Although children are allowed on site, there was absolutely nothing for them and ball games not allowed. It is situated close to a busy road and despite trees, it was quite noisy during the day. It was ok for what we wanted but wouldn't rush back.
Site's response
Thank you for your review - glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated how clean and beautifully laid out our site is. Sorry we didn't get to meet you, we are about on the site each end of the day and for two hours whilst cleaning our facility block and we live here too. Yes - we welcome families and it does state that there isn't any play areas or open areas for play, nor are ball games permitted. Most families are off site during the day enjoying the fabulous area, with the waterfalls trail, the outdoor village pool, village play area and pump track that are all within 1m. Sorry Thornbrook Barn wasn't for you. Sandra & Alan.

Nice, terraced site with very easy access. We stayed with friend on serviced pitch at the top of the site with good views over it, pitch massive and quite level. 200 meters from main road for access, but no noise on site from it. 15 mins to local pub down country lane, great food, beers and beer garden. 25 mins to Ingleton village, no footpath for first 10 mins but lane wide so ok. Site is well shielded with trees around, so midges in evening. Despite this, will be back.

Many thanks for your 5* review. We are pleased you both enjoyed your weekend here and we look forward to having you stay with us in the future. Kind Regards Sandra & Alan

Lovely site. Vey well kept. Would stay again if in the area. Farm Shop just down the road. Pub 5 min walk did lovely food for a special treat. Waterfall walk lovely. Just what you need to tire you out for a snooze in the afternoon. Loved listening to the owls as we drifted off to sleep at night. Would definitely recommend.

What a find! We stayed on a serviced pitch we had complete privacy and lots of space. While we are very sociable people we know this is important. The showers and facilities are second to none with the luxury of piped music in toilet block. We have been staying on club sites (never again) as we can't tolerate the regimentation. We will be back. We sadly had to cut our stay short due to an issue with awning and had to send it back to supplier bone dry and weather was not looking good. Ingleton is a beautiful area lots of walks peace and tranquillity. Bonus having farm shop. Thank you.
Site's response
Thank you Lesley for staying with us for 5 days earlier this month. I hadn't realised that you were having an issue with your awning, when I chatted with you we mentioned about the pitching and size of the awning and how it worked on the pitch, hope you get it swapped or repaired soon for your next trip away. I am glad you enjoyed the site and location and we look forward to having you stay with us again soon, Sandra.

Didn't have to book in at the site as the number plate recognition operating the barrier does it for you and you are allocated a pitch before you get there. The pitches are the largest I have ever stayed on and gives the whole site a spacious feel. They are very well kept. The shower block is very clean. Easy to get to, but turn your sat-nav off on the final approach. Ladies - take your own hairdryer and bear in mind that there isn't a laundry. Everything else is on the website.
Site's response
Many thanks for the great review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay here and appreciated the design and layout of the site along with the large pitch you were allocated. Many thanks, Sandra and Alan.

I paid for a fully serviced pitch as that was all that was left at last minute. What an absolutely beautiful site, they really have thought of everything. Immaculately clean and pristine, they even leave out courtesy poo bags for dogs and there's an enclosed dog exercise area! I really can't fault anything, gorgeous location near a gorgeous shop, lovely pub nearby, a short walk to the local village and waterfall trails, it's the site that's got it all ❤️
Site's response
Thanks Jo for the fab review. Most of our pitches are Serviced Pitches (30 Serviced (with EHU/waster/waste and 12 Standard with EHU). We are so pleased you appreciated our great location near Country Harvest shop, and being able to walk in to the village too. Many thanks, Sandra and Alan.

The location was lovely and wash facilities were very clean. Dog field was good. WiFi password didn't work, even tried copying and pasting it several times but still said wrong password. Didn't see the owners, got an email to say it was self check in. I thought they may have popped by to greet us. Sadly the weather was against us so we didn't get to see the waterfalls as planned. The Marton Arms was a nice welcome and the food was excellent.
Site's response
Glad you enjoyed your overnight stay with us, sorry about the weather! We are aware that copying and pasting the password for the Wi-Fi on some devices doesn't work and this has to be inputted using your keypad. If you had called the 24hr contact number we could have advised. Hope you will return for a longer stay and to enjoy the Waterfalls Trail with the entrance just a short walk from the site.
