Fantastic site.
Medium Tent - Valley View Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 This is a fantastic little site in a peaceful scenic location. The facilities are top notch and well maintained. Showers always hot. Onsite shop is reasonably priced and the site staff are friendly and helpful when needed. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

Great campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Terrace Grass Campervan Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 Great campsite with friendly staff, gorgeous views, and good value. We felt welcome as soon as we got there and had a great spot on terrace, with plenty of room between pitches for chairs and a campfire. The shop is very reasonably priced, the food van served great food, and the small bar is worth a visit. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to camp in the south of the lakes.

VW-Type Campervan - Valley View Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 Lovely small ish site up in the hills, some twisty roads to access if your sat nav takes you the long way, best route is from the south, from the A590 towards Witherslack, lovely very clean, toilet and shower blocks, and the site staff and manager are really helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and would visit again

Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 A great small site which is just right for exploring the Lake District, it has good toilets, showers and wash area, all staff were very friendly and helpful will stay at this site again, but will stay in one of the yurts next time if I come up to the area at the same time of year which was early May

Great, family friendly campsite
Medium Tent - Premium Grass Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2026 Great campsite! Loved the pizza fodder on a Wednesday evening and the pub serving local beer (which was delicious).
The location is great for exploring, we had a great time at Grange-over-Sands (we would recommend trying Fish-over-chips), and exploring Windermere, which is only a 20 minute drive away.
For those looking to hike the pikes, I would say this campsite is slightly too far.
The facilities look to be pretty new! Showers and toilets are nicely up to date. The shower cubicles (although small) are well designed with a partition to ensure dry clothing and towels. The only slightly frustrating thing about the showers was the sensor. It was very sensitive, causing the shower to dip on and off every 30 seconds or so. We also found the facilities got a little dirty as more people arrived at the site. There's not a full time cleaner, seems the showers and toilets are only cleaned once in the morning and evenings.
Regardless, we will be back! We really enjoyed our stay and want to explore more of the Lake District ☺️

Lovely site shop that sells delicious local produce. Tap bar was great, good prices and pizza were delicious. A big thank you to all the staff, you are all amazing.
Great locations and plenty of things to do only a short car journey away.
Nothing bad I can say about this site. We will definitely be back.
Mini lodge with hot tub
Glamping Pod - Mini Lodge Pod with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) Apr 2026 A little off the beaten track but the campsite is fantastic. There’s a little onsite shop, bar, pizza nights, coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches, such clean toilets and showers and a gorge out a little campsite.

Medium Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 We had an excellent stay at this site, it was quiet and friendly with a mix of different people. It was lovely to taste the local beer and wine in the little bar and sitting outside and eating the pizza's was a lovely way to end the day. The toilets and showers were very well kept and clean.

Lovely small campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Terrace Grass Campervan Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2026 A lovely little campsite for a short stay. It had a bar, shop and little trailer that does pizza.
We stayed in a campervan and was placed on a pitch that was known to be boggy and difficult to drive on after rain. This sounds like it's a frequent issue, so I do think something needs to be done to sort it as we ran into issues when parking the van. Staff were very helpful and provided some boards.
The bar was lovely and quaint, a small selection but loved that they supported local businesses. Bathrooms were very clean and the showers were very hot! A rarity at a campsite.
Overall, very happy with our stay and would visit again. Staff were friendly and welcoming and added to the enjoyment of our stay.

A great two night stay!
Small Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 We camped here for two nights and definitely would come back again! The team who greeted us were very welcoming and were able to answer all the questions we had! The shop on site has everything you could want including a hireable fire pit and wood at a very reasonable price. These were also some of the nicest campsite toilets I've seen - always clean and nice and modern. Plenty of space on our pitch for our tent also. Thank you for a great stay!
Lovely campsite in a great location
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Premium Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2026 We recently stayed at Moss Howe Farm Campsite for two nights, in our campervan, and had such a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived — nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel really welcome.
The facilities were spotless and clearly very well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable.
We also really enjoyed the little on-site shop, especially the great selection of local produce and the delicious fresh pastries available for breakfast - a perfect start to the day before heading out on one of the beautiful nearby hiking trails.
The area around the campsite is stunning, with plenty of routes to explore right from your pitch.
We'd definitely stay again and are already looking forward to coming back!
