The Royal Oak is charming country pub and campsite in the Peak District, within ten minutes of Bakewell and Buxton. Choose from grass or winter hardstanding pitches for tents and small campervans, some with private picnic benches and fire pits. You can enjoy a delicious, hearty meal and a refreshing pint at the onsite pub, perfect after exploring the Tissington and High Peak Trail (with direct access from the site). Dogs are welcome too!

Had a great stay, couldn't believe how helpful and friendly the staff were, nothing was to much trouble. Great menu at the pub and an ideal spot to get straight out on the trails. Lovely stay.
