Large Tent - Electric Grass or Gravel Pitches (Type C)Jun 2025

We booked our first family camping weekend and chose Birchwood because it looked great for families and allowed dogs. They obviously noticed on our booking that we had young children, as they put us close to the play park, pool and facilities. This really helped us keep on top of all the kids and the dog, so we're very grateful for that. The pool and play park were in good condition for the kids to play in, and the facilities were very well maintained. We'd definitely recommend this camp site for young families.

Quiet site with great facilities

Motorhome - Electric Grass or Gravel Pitches (Type C)May 2025

Our first visit to Wareham Forest and first to Birchwood Campsite. We have a Welsh Sheep Dog and love to take long walks. The site offer good, all year round walks, although the plantation forest can be a little 'samey' after a few days. The walk to Wareham is easy and convenient. The only very minor complaint we had was not having a nice country pub nearby, it would have made for a full 5 star review across the board.

Excellent

Stayed here many times, it's the best park in Dorset! It's spotlessly clean, friendly, has a lovely little shop, friendly staff always ready to lend a hand - just love this park.
