About the site
This luxury touring park is set within 120 acres of farmland in the heart of Rutland Countryside. Being adult only, it is ideal for peace and quiet, with the lakeside setting and visiting wildlife adding to the relaxing feel. The 5 Star Gold site has 26 lakeside hardstanding superior pitches, all south facing with spectacular views across the fishing lakes and the Rutland countryside beyond. Measuring a spacious 12m x 12m, the pitches are set just 6m from the water's edge, with a 16 amp electric, water and grey waste hook up, along with a grassed area. Each pitch allows campervans, caravans, motorhomes and RVs with up to four guests. Guests can enjoy complimentary fishing in all the lakes, with seven to choose from, and you can even fish straight in front of your caravan. You will also have access to the luxury facilities onsite, including deluxe rainfall showers, oak washstands and raised stone basins. There are seven luxury log cabins onsite, four of which are adult only. Guests here are also permitted to use the fishing lakes, and three of the lodges are family friendly. Please note that the touring park lake is exclusively for the touring park guests You will be surrounded by woodland and footpaths offering many different walking routes, excellent for dog walks. Stretton Wood offers 100 acres to the north of the site, and George Henry Wood, 80 acres, sits between the site and Stretton Village. Both have public access. The woodlands are teeming with fallow deer, often seen grazing the site. BBQs are also permitted for anyone wanting to cook up a delicious feast. Please note that campfires and fire pits are not permitted. The site is also dog friendly, with up to three allowed per pitch. Four-legged friends are also catered for with their own washing facilities.
