About the site

The site is a well-established 16-acre park by Wales' largest natural lake, Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), south of the Snowdonia National Park (Eryri). Its peaceful location enjoys fantastic views of the Aran and Arenig mountains and has a 4-star Wales Tourist Board Award. Enjoy the site's private shingle beach and use the easy launch area for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, and even wild swimming! There are over 150 pitches for tents, campervans, caravans, motorhomes and roof top tents, each spread across the spacious site to ensure a peaceful stay for all - some even right by the river and lake! If you're looking to bring a roof tent, please book it under the campervan pitch category. Grass pitches are suitable for tents, small campervans, roof top tents and caravans, with the option of electric hook up. Hardstanding pitches are also available for caravans, larger campervans and motorhomes each with 16 amp electric too. Two well behaved dogs are more than welcome, and there is even a small enclosed dog exercise field for them to stretch their paws. You can hire metal fire pits from the site, which are a great addition to any camping holiday. You are welcome to bring your own but do ensure all fires are raised off the ground.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesApr 2026

Apart from the storm from hell, the site was all very good, hardstandings quite small, but looks like they are being improved. 3 big buildings for services, all in great condition. Small shop for basics, nice location on the lake. Not too far from the town.

Perfect location, great value.
