Family Trip

An amazing campsite for everyone. accommodates your needs and very helpful. Doggy day care is a fantastic service which our dog had the pleasure to spend time with them while we had a family adventure day at zip world. Nathan and his team are very helpful. Perfect for families with beautiful grounds especially in the evening with a fire pit lit and achy legs from climbing Snowdonia.

Amazing stay!

The campsite was lovely and very well kept. The facilities were great and cleaned regularly. Great location, in between a number of places which were easy to access by bus if you didn't want to drive. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the site if that. Owners were also lovely, always around should you need them. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent location

The site was immensely clean. The staff were very helpful and gave great advice on what to do in the area. It was a very peaceful quiet site. Would highly recommend

Our stay

What can we say about Llys Derwen! From the moment we arrived with such a warm welcome from Nathan and his team, everything was perfect. The pitch was spacious with electric and water to hand. Fantastic views and a peaceful spot! The toilets and showers were very clean and very tidy, with plenty of room in the showers. The added bonus was a Doggy Day Care onsite. This was a fantastic place for our pooches to spend some time while we went to explore Snowdon. The dogs were well looked after and even walked in their own dog field. The lodge had fresh eggs. Ice creams, firepits to hire and bags of logs to purchase. Rubbish bins and recycling well labelled and nicely positioned. We will 100% return!

Great campsite, ideal spot for north wales. Facilities are immaculate. Would definitely go again.

Great Campsite

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this lovely campsite. The owner is a lovely person really kind and made us fell very welcoming. The campsite is very well located in a quiet rural area and has a calm and relaxed atmosphere to it. If we were to nit-pick we would just suggest extending the Utility block with more showers but otherwise would definitely recommend well above most other places we stayed during our trip to North Wales.

Great campsite

I don't think I've ever had such a warm welcome at a campsite. It's a lovely location with great views, perfectly located for hill walking and outdoor pursuits. Good, clean facilities. Great dog exercise area and pub just down the hill. A little more expensive than other sites I've stayed in North Wales.

Perfect Snowdonia base

As soon as we arrived, Nathan, the owner, greeted us with a big smile and made us feel right at home! The place was spotless and clearly well-loved, which showed how much effort he puts into creating a welcoming atmosphere. There were many recycling spots around. The facilities were not just clean but also really well-kept, and we loved being able to enjoy some nice, warm showers after a day of adventures. The site was quiet, making it the perfect spot to kick back and relax.

Amazing site

Amazing 5 night stay. 2adults 1child age 5. Facilities clean and tidy. Lovely hot showers. Site well maintained, very spacious pitches. Owner Nathan couldn't do enough for us. Friendly and helpful. Perfect stay to end the summer and will be returning for the new season.

Immaculate

Absolutely immaculate! Nathan the owner could not do enough to ensure your stay was the best it could be. 5 minutes walk to bus stops, a lovely dog play area, the cleanest toilet block I have ever used.

Best campsite!

This was our second stay at Llys Derwen and we will never camp anywhere else. We have been camping for over 20 years and have never found facilities as immaculate as they are here. They are constantly cleaned all day and early evening. The pitches are a great size. The owner, Nathan, the staff and his family are so friendly and helpful. Again, we have never received such a friendly welcome! We will be back next year. Thank you

Lovely campsite

Cannot fault this site showers & toilets absolutely spotless as is the rest of the site, nice fenced in area to exercise dogs, small shop in the reception with anything you may need Nathan who runs the site works all hours to ensure everything is clean. We had the best welcome I have ever received on arrival, would not hesitate to recommend a stay here, will definitely return 👏

Nice campsite

Nice campsite. Good location. Clean. Nice staff. I booked this site because it is close to the Snowdon. Just 10 mins drive from the campsite to the Llanberis. The campsite is in excellent condition, a little site but won't feel too close to the camping neighbour. The site has fridge for food storage and the reception sell ice-cream and soft drink. Honestly, it is in a very reasonable price but I have no chance to buy because we back to the site very late. The only thing we can moan is my pitch is close to a road (it is not very busy), can hear some car noise when car pass by. Other than that, the site is absolutely fine. Definitely book it again for our next adventure in Snowdon.

One night stay

Fantastic little campsite. Will definitely stay again when we fancy a night away. The dog park was a bonus for the little dog.

Great location

We booked last minute to do the Welsh 3000s. Arrived approx 7pm and left 3am so we weren't there for long. However, we were welcomed on arrival and the facilities were spotless. Fantastic location and being able to exit the site when we needed was the reason we booked as most sites you cannot leave until 7am due to barriers. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
