Lush weekend
Motorhome - Optional Electric Gravel Pitches (Awnings) May 2026 We went for 2 nights as a family of 4 and our dog and we all had a lovely time. Staff were always happy to help and friendly☺️

Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Huts (Dog Friendly) May 2026 I think the Cwmdu site Shepherds Huts are the epitome of luxury.
We slept really well. I thought the hut was well equipped but not cluttered. So nice having our own bathroom facilities. I loved being able to sit out on the deck in the evening with a great view of the hills. Thanks again for a super time.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 We had a fantastic stay at Cwmdu campsite and look forward to returning soon. The instructions to find the campsite were easy to follow and the staff on site were extremely accommodating and helpful on arrival. The site had everything needed for our stay and the shower/toilet facilities were fantastic! All of the staff were very friendly and available to answer any questions we had, with one staff member in particular being very helpful to guide us to a local walk along the nearby mountain ridge with breath-taking views across the valleys! The local pub even delivered food and drinks to our pitch which was a really nice touch after a long walk/hike! The onsite shop and van selling food and drinks were well stocked with lots of delicious options including cooked bacon/sausage rolls or fresh goods in the shop to cook for yourself. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning!

Motorhome - Optional Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Awnings) May 2026 This campsite was a gem. Beautiful location. Walk to the pub for Sunday roast! They even do pitch delivery 😊
The butties and coffee on site is a great idea. I noticed Dad’s meeting to enjoy a morning drink! The shop was the best ever. Local produce, fresh milk and bread, meds and so much more.
Would absolutely recommend this site!!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cwmdu.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The ablution facilities were immaculate with plenty of hot water. Fridges, freezers and microwave available for guest use. Pop up Pizza kitchen on Friday evening was superb.
Breakfast and bar facilities were much appreciated! Cleanliness of campsite was excellent.
We shall return! Thank you for a stress free stay.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 The whole place is spot on—clean, well looked after, and clearly run by people who actually care. Facilities were great, no horror stories (which, let’s be honest, is always a win when camping).
We were originally on a pitch that wasn’t quite right for us, but the staff were brilliant and moved us straight away without any fuss. Ended up on a flatter pitch right next to the park, which was ideal—especially with kids in tow.
Big shout as well to the shop—proper hidden gem. Stocked with what you actually need (not just random tins you’d never eat), plus the pop-up pizza was a serious bonus. After a long day outdoors, that hits different. The walking routes and maps they provide were a great touch too—makes it easy to just get out and explore without overthinking it.
Overall, great setup, great atmosphere, and just an easy place to enjoy a camping trip without any dramas.
Would absolutely recommend—and we’ll definitely be back.

VW-Type Campervan - Optional Electric Grass Covered Hardstanding Pitches (Awnings) Oct 2025 Really clean site, friendly and helpful staff. Extremely well stocked shop and a great pop up coffee/bar/cafe. Facilities top notch. 10pm quiet happened magically so a really good night's sleep.
Pub nearby but at end of Oct only open Thurs to Sun. Near to lots of good walking and places to visit.

Happy to find a microwave for campers, would love to have seen a kettle as well, especially for tent campers.
Staff were really helpful and the food in shop was great and good value - definitely try the sausages (they're from a local butcher in Crickhowell), if the shop hasn't run out.
Would suggest a bit more lighting away from the toilets and wash area.
Overall, would definitely recommend for a few nights of peace and quiet!!

Used their pop up shop, and the food trailer, all very tasty, liked they had local beer on tap too. Would definitely recommend, and will be staying again.
Incredible value
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 This sight offers great value for money. Facilities wise the showers were clean. The kitchen area was also clean.
When I arrived at reception, I didn't even need to get out the car as I was met by a staff member. She walked around to show me where my pitch was and I just followed her in my car.
The site was one of the best campsites I've stayed on and I will definitely be returning the next time I'm visiting Wales.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Optional Electric Grass Touring Pitches (Awnings) Sep 2025 Lovely site, great views this site has everything you need, a shop, freshly cooked food on site pizzas when we were there, a pub just around the corner that will deliver to your pitch.
They even had barbecues and fire pits you could use if you needed.
Will go back.
Great Campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 This is a great campsite. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and keep the facilities spotless. Pitches are large and, although ours was on a slope, it wasn't a problem.
The Friday evening pizza van and the on site breakfast and coffee pod are brilliant additions.
The Farmers Arms, a five minute walk away and the views, add to the experience.

Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 We really liked this campsite, the facilities were clean and there were plenty of services such as a food truck and option to order food from the local pub.
Very friendly staff as well, and nice large pitches for tents (with electricity). I did notice that people who had no electricity had to pitch their tents on a slope though. But as far as we were concerned, it was great. Some people were a bit noisy one night, talking loudly until 1 am, despite the clearly announced policy of silence after 10 pm. Unfortunately, you can't do much about inconsiderate people.

Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Had an absolute best time!
Wanted to walk up Pen Y Fan, only downside was that is was a drive away. However, to stay there a little further away, the drive was nothing! The facilities were all clean and the people were so friendly, even our fellow campers were happy and polite ☺️
All round, great stay and can't wait to come back!

First time camper and thank god I chose this site. Its amazing, facilities are good, shop, pizza van, coffee and pastry van, park for the kids. Couldn't ask for more.
Also the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble.

Loads to do nearby and much needed pizzas on arrival. Everyone was so friendly and kind.
