About the site

Just a five minute walk from the quaint village of Penybontfawr and set in the heart of the Tamat Valley, this family friendly touring park is a Powys gem. Pull up at Parc Farm and enjoy a riverside stay surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of mountains and greenery. There are ten grass pitches for your caravan or motorhome, each with a 10 amp electric hook up. There are also 12 pitches for seasonal tourers as well as a selection of static caravans. Have a picnic by the river as you watch the little ones run around in the playground or a game of football. Or, if you like fishing pack your rod and fish in the River Tanat and see what you can catch, for keen walkers there are plenty of trails around. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Sorry, campfires and BBQs are not permitted.

had nice stay here, loved our pitch by the river, watching the birds and fishes. also the friendly bulls in the field opposite who came to say hello our 2 frenchies loved it, could paddlle in the water to cool down owners very helpful, nice clean toilet blocks, laundry and pot washing facilities available if needed. stunning scenery both on the site and on the drive going there. close to small village with pub and shop, we never went there as the road is very busy and didn't feel comfortable walking our dogs on the narrow pavement. would recommend this site and will return in the future

First time staying here and will be returning! Beautiful small site both children loved it here one 9 years old the other 13. Sian and nick the owners couldn’t be more accommodating. We booked for the Wednesday on Tuesday emailed them to see if we could come that evening instead 20 mins later a phone call from them! Nick was far too happy to help! We have really enjoyed our stay here lovely little village shop just down the road and a village 10 mins away with butchers a spar and lovely fish and chip shop. We need to return again as there’s also a waterfall there which we didn’t get to see! Can’t wait to return

Parc farm is very clean tidy facilities are just what you need. Park is small with beautiful views. The owners are really nice with a very warm welcome. They are always happy to advise on local amenities.

Things to do on site and in the Oswestry area

The park's backdrop is the perfect place to take in the stunning scenery of the valley, as you wait for a bite by the river whilst the kids runaround in the play area.

Lake Vyrnwy is just under 10 miles from the park, where you can take to the water in a kayak or canoe or, if you want to stick to dry land, abseiling, horse riding and more is also available.

History lovers can also head to Powis Castle and Gardens, just over 30 minutes away. This spectacular medieval castle towers over the surrounding gardens - ideal for family strolls before catching your breath with a picnic.

You're also close to the historic market towns of Bala, Oswestry and Welshpool and just an hour from the coast for days at the beach.
