Excellent staff, facilities really good. Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 The staff were amazing, really helpful, friendly and gave us great local advice.
Restaurant and the food we had was lovely and the whole campsite was clean and well organised. Good to fair value for money.
Perfect setting - perfectly maintained Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Faultless experience - beautiful setting - good facilities - nice distribution of pitches- will be coming again!
Great campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Great campsite. Good location. Staff are lovely and super helpful
Great weekend away Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Great campsite all pitches are marked out so you have a boundary to work to. Only downside is the shower block doesn't have enough cubicles.
They have excellent and helpful staff. Great pop up bar opposite reception in the evening and a good cafe. Lovely surroundings and the beaches are excellent and 10 mins drive away.
They have a closed in field for the pooches in the family.
1st time camper - very friendly and helpful site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Great camping experience. Knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Great location. Well stocked shop with incredibly reasonable prices.
Beautiful site Recommends site
Twin Axle Caravan - Large Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Lovely site, large pitch, lovely bacon roll in the cafe. Didn’t do too much as just relaxed for the weekend. Toilets lovely and clean (although there could be another block). Big dog walking field. Will definitely be going back.
Great find! Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Really great campsite. Very quiet when we stayed. Really helpful and accommodating staff. Super clean facilities! Thank you
Lovely, friendly campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Upon arrival, we were greeted and given all the information needed about the campsite. The security gates were great - worked on numberplate recognition, so no code numbers to remember!
The toilets and showers were excellent - very clean and easily accessible. We didn't need them, as in a camper, but the washing up facilities looked good too. Great to have an Elsan point and good water points too.
Our hardstanding was well maintained and the grass area, nice to sit out and enjoy the evening. It was a shame the cafe wasn't open - only at weekends, but that was a minor point. The shop was really well stocked - lots of lovely local goodies.
We enjoyed our stay and it was a good location for both ends of the Gower Peninsula - and close to Llangenith for the Kings Head pub!
Lovely site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Couldnt fault anything.
Beautiful, well kept, scenic Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Perfect location, stunning scenery, beautifully kept campsite.
Only a short walk (10-12k) into Llangenith. The shop is limited although has everything we needed - ice cream, wine, and a new electric camping extension as ours broke.
Showers are superb! Grass is super green, great pitch sizes. Mam of teenagers with an unruly dog 🤣
Absolutely brilliant. Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026 This was amazing. Beautiful well kept site. Blends good clean facilities and being close to nature perfectly. Great shop and fabulous cafe prices really competitive. Very good value for money.
Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our first motorhome outing.
What made it was all the lovely people that worked there.
They were so knowledgeable and helpful.
Even the directions they gave us to the site were spot on.
Will definitely make this a regular stop. Highly recommended. 😊
Great Location but needs a few tweaks Recommends site
Motorhome - XL Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026 Lovely spacious site in a great location. Staff all very helpful and keen to give good service. Only 2 things need a little tweaking,
1) Need water supply to some pitches especially hardstanding or when using a Motorhome as you don't want to be carrying fresh water to fill up tank every time it needs topping up if you plan to stay any length of time.
2) On site café is clean and good range of food but need to prepare food fresh on site as would appeared as if brought in and heated.
Would stay again and 10/10 for excellent dog run field.
Just what I hoped for Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026 Lovely welcome, good pitch and really clean facilities. All good.
Easter stay during Storm Dave Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 Unfortunately Storm Dave decided to make an appearance the weekend we went, so didn't get to venture out.
However, a brilliant little site, the team on the reception were very friendly & helpful. As we couldn't have a BBQ on the first night as planned, we did pop to their onsite cafe, I highly recommend the meat feast pizza 10/10! Would definitely recommend & would definitely visit again, the view from our van I could imagine lots of walks. Good value for money.
Really good campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Really lovely site, staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Very clean site… all the facilities you need when staying in a campervan.
Would definitely recommend and would very much stay again.
Excellent clean well managed site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Thank you for your welcome especially after a late arrival.
Lovely well placed site. Highly recommended.
Good quiet location, very clean and staff were very helpful Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2025 We had a lovely relaxing stay. Facility was very clean.
The cafe on site was very clean and the food was lovely and very good value for money!
Nice site Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Wi-Fi signal was rubbish which wouldn't have been an issue if the weather wasn't so bad.
Our pitch was right at the back which didn't make sense as there were loads of empty pitches. Amazing location, close to beach which had a great food place where we could take the dog. Shower and toilets were clean, we would return.
Amazing stay Recommends site
Large Tent - XL Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 I emailed a week before our stay with questions and they responded quick and were very accommodating to us.
We hadn't booked yet and were worried we left it too late, also, the fact we were a group and most campsites do not allow that (which I understand). The price is absolutely amazing and so much cheaper than any of the other sites we looked at in the area.
When we arrived, the man was very welcoming and friendly. We drove in and set up our tent and had the best time! Toilets and showers were only a few minutes walk away and the breakfast we had both mornings were one of the best I've ever had. The evening food wasn't as great (not much selection and a little expensive). The pizza was very nice but sadly, they ran out, so I had to have a kids chicken nuggets and chips which wasn't great.
The shop was good too, but would've been nice to have more variety in drinks (in both the café and shop there weren't really any diet options, diet coke, diet fanta etc). It was easy to leave and come back when we went to the beach for the day (which was only around a 15 minute drive)! We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful stay Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely stay. Easy friendly check in. Nice pitch. Friendly site.
Good service in the shop and restaurant.
Tranquil well-equipped campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 A well cared for site, mostly flat ground and green grass where I could safely walk barefoot, child, adult and dog friendly with a separate exercise area for dogs. Except for hot weekends (August) where numbers inflated, it was quiet with lovely views across the hillside punctuated by bleating sheep, all part of the camping attraction with a few sheep to greet you at the entrance. We drove through what looked like moorland on the roads leading up to the campsite with horses, sheep, and cows crossing roads – which helped to slow down to the holiday pace.
We paid £26 a night for a medium sized tent, a dog and a car. Appreciated being able to choose where to pitch except for near the hedged areas which had electric hook ups.
Toilets were very clean and didn’t have to queue at any time. Shower pressure good. Made full use of indoor laundry and washing up facilities with hot water, a phone charging socket and freezer for ice packs. The onsite café meals were tasty with vegetarian options, for which we were very grateful, especially after arriving late. Owner very patient with late arrivals. Orange juice and hash browns were excellent. Even a separate area for washing down wet suits and sand. Impressed by the refuse recycling facilities. Small shop on site handy for topping up on milk, camping essentials and dog food. Even in a heatwave, the mist rolls in at night, so don’t forget to bring a blanket and woolly hat.
We usually travel by public transport and noted that the site is on a bus route which can take you to nearby beaches within a 10-15 minute drive. Swansea is about a 45 minute drive. Small garden centre close by and pub around a 25 minute walk. Supermarkets are quite a distance away so try to stock up before you arrive. A temporary bar parked up while we were there.
Areas for improvement: during busy periods e.g. weekends would have been helpful to have some stewardship of parking and tents, especially where there are groups. There were no clear lines of access for cars or camping areas.
Staff and campers were very friendly and we heard the Welsh language spoken frequently including dog commands. Great to see that this is still partly a working farm with some faithfuls returning year on year with a real mix of caravans, campervans and tents. Would definitely recommend the site and will return. A tranquil place to return to after a day’s activities.
Fantastic friendly and spotlessly clean Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We loved staying at Kennexton.
Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly! My 7 year old loved the cafe and the relaxing, warm atmosphere, we were made so welcome.
Great facilities including a large field for exercising dogs. Our dog didn't want to get in the car to come home.
This was our first family camping trip and we can't wait to come back!
Can highly recommend Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Really impressed. Friendly staff, shop and cafe onsite. The pizza was superb.
Nice size pitch. Clean facilities and lovely showers. Loads of space, ideal location for the beaches of the Gower.
Can highly recommend.
Excellent stay on lovely site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We spent a very relaxing couple of nights at Kennexstone - highly recommended.
Lovely campsite, good location, clean facilities Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 This is a family friendly campsite that is spacious and well run. The facilities are great, with plenty of very clean loos, hot showers and kitchen/wash up room with a large freezer for ice blocks.
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The on-site shop has everything you need or have forgotten. The cafe is excellent, serving freshly cooked breakfasts and meal's which are very good value.
