VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Nice area and perfect
Lovely stay at Hopleys Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 We had a great time staying at Hopleys over the bank holiday. Really big field for our pitch, clean facilities and an amazing pub/food on site with a play area for the kids. Close to the Wyre forest but we didn’t go as the kids were happy staying at the campsite. Overall a really good stay and sensible quiet hours so it wasn’t too rowdy on site.
Just fab! Recommends site
Large Tent - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2026 Lovely campsite. Very clean and has all you need. Great location if you fancy a nice walk with children and the dog. We have a lovely stay. Stunning views ! We were super lucky with the weather too, which was an added bonus.
Food was very good! Highly recommend.
Excellent Recommends site
Trailer Tent - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2026 Beautiful well maintained campsite, lovely clean showers and toilets. Great shop, cafe and bar. Can't wait to go back
Great place spoiled by awful guests Large Tent - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2026 From our perspective - we were sent 3 emails before we checked in that stated quite clearly (in bold) that group bookings were not allowed and anyone trying to circumnavigate this could be removed without notice. We actually turned down a friend and her daughter who wanted to come with us due to this, but we might as well have not bothered. It is not policed. I would say that 75% of the people on site over the bank holiday weekend were part of a group of at least 8 or more - and here lies the issue.
We were unfortunate enough to be on the same row as 2 such groups that both played ridiculously loud, headache inducing house/dance music from 8am until 10:30pm every day we were there. They drank constantly, swore loudly, had dogs running around completely out of control, or tethered on leads that were far too long (one of which kept aggressively jumping up at my kids every time they walked past), were intermittently smoking drugs and kept screaming at their various feral kids, all of which were completely running amok by urinating in hedges, running through people pitches, messing around in the shower rooms and constantly playing with the drinking water tap - they had water balloons and just left hundreds of torn balloons littered around the tap.
No camping, or general, etiquette whatsoever.
We didn't want to be "those guys" by calling the warden every 5 minutes (and it would've been blatantly obvious it was us), but we had to on the Sunday night, as after having listened to the awful music all day, they were still belting it out at gone half 10 (the cut off time for noise) and we'd finally had enough. The warden did, in all fairness, come almost instantly. But why are they not doing rounds during the day to police such behaviour? There's enough of them to do it.
We went to the bar one evening (which is amazing) to try and get away from the lovely crowd near our tent, but even that was short lived, as after sitting down for about 5 minutes, a group of lads turned up with their girlfriends using really loud, beyond vulgar language, not one care given to the fact they were next to a playground full of children. Both us and the lady next to us (with her children) got up and left immediately, both commenting "family camping indeed".
We very nearly packed up and left early but decided to persevere. It's such a shame, because the place is really nice, the views are lovely, the shop is well stocked and reasonably priced, the 5 minutes we spent in the bar, it looked great, but whilst poor behaviour isn't policed, it is genuinely not somewhere I can recommend you take a young family.
I imagine off peak, out of season, mid week etc. it's absolute bliss - but if you have at least some class and want a peaceful, true family experience without having to cover your children's ears constantly, avoid weekends/peak times/Bank Holidays.
To conclude, the inability of Hopley's to Police their own rules completely ruined our weekend. A side note - I would agree with some of the other reviews that there's not enough showers or toilets for the amount of people on site. We found ourselves going for showers at no later than 7am and 5:45pm to avoid the rushes.
We have to say, as lovely as the surroundings are, sadly, we will not be returning.
Very nice location, but there’s more ! Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches with Optional Electric May 2026 I chose this site as it was in a nice location but more importantly, as I wanted to test out my new camper van and didn’t want to cook, this site had a bar / restaurant on site.
Cut to the chase, the food was simply spectacular, easily one of the very best smash burgers that I had ever eaten and everyone else was blown away by their chosen meals.
The site was superb value, food amazing, great tourist towns and villages close by and some awesome tourist attractions minutes away ….. 5 star all the way !
Excellent campsite and very friendly staff Recommends site

Great! Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 Absolutely loved it! Short walk to Bewdley town (if you’re heading there make sure you take cash for the sweet shop). The on site bar/restaurant was really delicious and really good entertainment both nights we were there.

Friendly family site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches with Optional Electric Mar 2026 Extremely friendly welcome and all staff were helpful throughout our stay.
Warm, clean toilet block. Toilets, showers and washing up sinks were dated but well cared for. Metered electricity worked well and avoids everyone paying the same regardless of usage.
Well stocked farm shop on site is a great bonus.
