Excellent stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Gravel Touring Pitches Feb 2024 Excellent site with easy access to the village of Kirkbymoorside. Very quiet with lots of nice walks. Jayne is very welcoming and friendly and we will definitely be back in 2024.

A lovely little site in a great location
Motorhome - Large Gravel Touring Pitch Dec 2023 Lovely little stop for a short or long stay. Very friendly. Well kept. Lovely walks and an ideal distance to Kirbymoorside. Lovely set up for recycling and bins. Will definitely be back. Thanks so much.

Great-way to the moors
Motorhome - Gravel Touring Pitches Nov 2023 As the title says, this site is a great way to spend time on the edge of the charming village Of Kirkby Moorside. A great site run by a lovely lady.

Lovely small, quiet site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Gravel Touring Pitch Oct 2023 Greeted by Jayne on arrival, we were able to choose which pitch we wanted.
The site is kept immaculately clean with a range of bins for general waste and recycling. We chose the site as it was small (6 pitches) and had basic facilities (no toilet or showers). The only real noise was from the road leading out of the village which was immediately behind the site, but this was quiet at night so not a problem for us, as we were out during the day.
Would definitely recommend and be returning in the future.

Camping stay
Single Axle Caravan - Gravel Touring Pitches Sep 2023 Arrived on site at bay 3 and unfortunately I could not help my husband put the awning up and this was our first time using a caravan after a number of years, thankfully, the lovely and helpful Jayne (site owner) offered to help and it was up in no time.
Our 2 dogs loved it as they could just lay chilling on the grassed area watching the sheep. There is a Co-op and shops about a mile or so walking distance from site so it's perfect. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks Jayne for being so kind.

Gateway to the Moors Caravan Park
Motorhome - Large Gravel Touring Pitch Aug 2023 Despite not having toilet or shower facilities, this is an excellent little caravan park with a nice atmosphere and nice views of the sheep pasture. The site is well maintained and the owner is helpful and friendly. It is in a good location for visiting the Yorkshire Moors or the East Coast.
