Onsite, you can enjoy a game of Woodland Warrior Lastertag, bushcraft sessions, giant draughts, fun and free mini golf, feeding the animals, walks around the grounds and an adventure playground for kids! The camping pitches are set across three fields, surrounded by trees with easy access to the facilities. For tent campers, there are 4m x 8m pitches with or without electric, with 6 and 10 amp pitches. Roof tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes, caravans and RVs can pitch up on the hardstanding pitches, each with a neighbouring grassed area. Some also include a 16 amp electric hook up. For luxury camping, there are two bark pitches, suitable for up to six guests each. They include your own private fenced area with garden furniture, a BBQ and a Canadian spa round hot tub! A selection of unfurnished bell tents are available, ideal for those travelling without a tent. There are optional electric hook ups if you want to bring any appliances with you. Just be sure to pack the usual camping gear like beds, bedding and cooking equipment. For families of up to six, there are ensuite glamping cabins with a double bedroom, double mezzanine bedroom and a double fold out sofa bed. These include a kitchen, ensuite bathroom and private outdoor deck, enclosed garden and hot tub. Four-legged friends can join in the fun, with up to two dogs permitted per pitch and bell tent. Evenings can be spent relaxing by your fire, with individual fire pits available for hire. BBQs are also allowed, just please ensure they are raised off the ground. The site offers a bar in the barn during school holidays and bank holidays in the spring/summer, as long as there isn't a wedding. Regular food vans will visit too, offering pizza, hog roasts, ice cream and more. The country estate is home to additional lodges, cottages, and holiday lets, with a large venue that hosts weddings, parties and private events.

A note from the site themselves...

We love our corner of Cumbrian countryside! Family owned and operated estate for over 250 years! We are the 6th generation to have the honour of caring for Blaithwaite. Expect a personal, family feel for the duration of your stay, with our boys all working within the business too.

We are a small team who are happy to help in any way we can. The surrounding estate land is farmed, so you'll see livestock, tractors and country living on a day to day basis. We welcome you to our home, gardens and woodland and hope you'll enjoy all that nature and Cumbrian hospitality brings your way. Kate, Mal, boys and team x
