We enjoyed our stay that much we booked an extra night. They really couldn't have been any more welcoming, dog friendly and locals were lovely. Really quirky bar 2 mins away and a great beach walk. All facilities were clean and easily accessible. We will most definitely be back 👍🤗

Lovely site, everything you need. Could do with a play area for kids, but love the site.

Loved this site. The lady at reception was friendly and showed us to our pitch, just opposite the homemade ice cream parlour. The showers and toilets were combined which was a great idea. Hot water and a towel rail. Very clean. Close to a local restaurant, pubs and a local shop, also a fish and chip shop. Great dog walking on the area. We came across the owners while out walking who introduced us to their pet sleep who they rescued. I'd definitely recommend this place and would be going back.
Nice friendly site with up to date showers

Ideal site if you have dogs, also if you enjoy going for walks. Small shop within walking distance of site for basic items, good showers and toilets. The ski bar is ok but felt it was a bit expensive.

The busiest park on our tour of the North West, but for the one night, it had everything we needed!

Owner is very friendly and went out of her way to get details of the nearest chip shop for us that was open. Great walks nearby.

On arrival, the staff in reception were absolutely brilliant, explaining where all the facilities were, which were very clean and well kept! The problem I had was I didn't think there is a lot to do unless you get in the car as you can only walk the harbour so many times! Not the site's fault but it rained on and off and the site became waterlogged very quickly, with an inch of water inside the awning making for a very dirty caravan - especially with the dogs!

Ignore negative reviews, the lady on reception is a star - so helpful. Toilet/shower rooms cleaned twice a day, lovely walk into Millom then back by bay to site via Ski bar, Great site, even in February.
Nice but too many potholes

The only downside to this park is the amount of large potholes that look like they have been like there a while. It made it very difficult for driving in and walking around. Plus when you have guests staying, I think you should have the shop open selling a few essentials. The staff were very helpful.
Just want to say a huge thank you

I bought this stay for my son's 18th birthday. Prior to the visit, I phoned to see if there was anything they could do (banner or balloon) in his pod to mark the occasion. There was a balloon waiting in his pod at no additional cost to me, which I was so grateful for. When my son arrived, there was a slight issue and when he spoke to the staff, they upgraded him to one of their best pods. All free of charge. He's had a great stay and the effort the staff went to was really great. I will defo be recommending this place to others and telling them how they went above and beyond for my son on his landmark birthday.

Lovely site - shame about the weather! Very friendly site, with excellent facilities that were kept clean. February weather in the western lakes is not ideal, but the dogs were happy with the beaches. Will look to return when (if?) the sun makes an appearance.

We stayed with our border collie dog, there were really good walks for her from site and a lovely beach at Haverigg. The weekend was really good, however the small coffee/ice cream shop was closed on Monday and the Ski Club next door only opened at 12.00pm and closed at 5.00pm. In the evening, you either had to walk to Haverigg to go to the pub, or stay in and watch TV etc, as we have a motorhome and we rarely leave the site once we've pitched up. We love to have breakfast out, so for this reason have marked down what would otherwise have been an almost perfect site for us. I've put 4 stars for standard of service, as the lady who checked us in was lovely but we never saw anyone else. I did go to reception a couple of times but it was closed with only an emergency phone number on the door. As it was out of season, it was perfectly reasonable, but not when you compare it with other sites. We felt it was also, at just over £30 per night, a little expensive for the winter season. But saying that, we would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay. The only downside was the water on the footpaths around the campsite, it was very soggy and muddy.

As the weather was very wet and windy, we didn't venture too far, but did manage a walk around the nature reserve to Mollom which was good. The site has very clean toilets and showers, which are heated and have nice hot water. Pitches are gravel with EHU. Some areas were flooded due to the rain, so it's unfair to comment on that.

Great place and a warm welcome. Lovely facilities and individual rooms include a shower, toilet and sink. All very clean and each have central heating to put your towel on! Good location for walks along the beach. Bars close by and shop.

Had a very nice break at Harbour Lights, the facilities were immaculate and the staff very friendly and helpful. They were above and beyond (along with local population) in helping to reunite me with my dog who went missing in action one evening… The site is well placed for coastal walks and for venturing further inland to visit the Lakes etc.

Such a little haven of loveliness. Site is in a gorgeous, quiet place with stunning views and a lovely little beach just across the road. Dainty café with luscious hot drinks and tasty cakes, biscuits and ice cream with really friendly staff. Showers were perfect, will be back. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

I'm being harsh here but the site is okay, it's in a good location but for some reason, the postcode we originally used was for a local supermarket. We eventually found the site and set up. The only problem was that the roads on site are made from a dark grey type of powdered stone which, when wet, got transferred into our motorhome and the site's shower block making them look dirty which they were not. I know it would be very expensive but tarmac roads and pitches would easily move it up to nearly a 5 star rating.

Thank you for your review and points raised. Regarding the postcode, we were allocated this by Royal Mail and it has been updated via google maps and is correct on the royal mail site and also google maps, but there has been an issue with Apple Maps which has caused problems. We are looking at tarmacking for the road through the site and hope this will be done in the not too distant future. We are constantly trying to improve the site and obviously this is ongoing. We appreciate constructive criticism so thank you for your time and we hope you will come back
