Situated by the Sound of Kerrera, Oban Holiday Park offers a peaceful getaway, ten minutes outside of Oban town centre. The site is home to spacious grass pitches for tents and tourers, along with a range of pods and lodges. Set away from the crowds, this is an ideal spot for enjoying nature, with easy access to the ferry that will take you to explore the Hebrides. There is also an onsite dog walk and a playpark to keep the kids busy!

Great location for accessing Oban ferries. We got a friendly greeting and sent off to the touring areas to find a spot. Unfortunately, as the weather has been rainy, it was very boggy on the side of the area and very churned up, so we had issues getting on. Great view for breakfast though.

Admittedly arrived during a very wet period, which affected grass pitches, so our booking was altered to hard standing. Nice play area close by, also toilet/shower facilities which were decent enough and shower was powerful and hot enough. Park is under relatively new ownership with plans to further improve site. Close enough to Oban centre but up a coast road with passing places. Would stay again.

Arrived at the site and reception also had a small shop, which was great. Unfortunately, the weather had been rather wet which meant that most of the pitches were very wet or churned up by vehicles. There was limited parking spots for vehicles who needed electrical supply. The facilities were clean and I found the showers to be the best of all of our recent stays. We were fortunate in even seeing some highland cows!

Nice spot. Very basic. No washer/dryer which didn't help as it rained the whole week! Bathroom dirty and cold.

A great site but not over sanitised, let's you feel you're still camping close to nature. Just enough facility to get by, you'll get drunk on the fresh air. I will be back.

Plus side: lovely location and clean facilities. Minus side: only campsite we have come across in many which doesn't provide any facilities to freeze ice blocks. Also why provide only 2 washing up basins for all the campers, nowhere near enough for the number of tents/campers you accommodate. Not sure I'd recommend this site for camping alone.

Lovely place. Main camp area on a bit of a slope, so wasn't perfect. Would benefit from a few more showers for everyone. A warm welcome from the staff and otherwise a great short stay (apart from the rain 😀).

Really need to stop people wearing their outside footwear in the toilets as the amount of grass is absolutely horrible.

Busy site, well located for visiting Oban/Argyll/ the islands. Spent 5 nights under canvas with electric pitch. Kids enjoyed the site, which is good for families and kids who can make their own entertainment if they are a bit big for the playground on site. Would recommend and hoping to return in future.

Star deducted as there's no fresh water available but apart from that, excellent camping site. Very flat, which is ideal when picking tent location, great washing facilities and toilets. Oban itself is a gorgeous place, costs around £8-£10 for a taxi as site is a bit far out with walking distance. Lovely sandy beach 5 mins drive away, ideal for kayaks and paddleboards.

Camping is hit and miss and you are not allocated an actual pitch, it's turn up and find the best. Fortunately we had a pitch right at the top which was quiet but speaking to other motorhome guests, they felt the same. You did not have a dedicated pitch and some hook-ups didn't work. Facilities are very basic and no drinking water. It is spring water fed and you have to boil before you drink it. Tastes fine but the colour may out some people off. Great location for exploring Kerrera.

Had a great time camping with the kids. Nice quiet site, super friendly staff and campers. Kids had a blast running round and playing at the park. Already booked our holiday for next year.

Nice site, located 5 mins out of Oban. Decent facilities, Electric showers that you control the heat on👍👍 Although, the blue shower curtains do try and vacuum onto you 😂. Nice polite staff and a decent small shop within the office.

Good campsite in a nice location. Disappointing for us was the cleaning of the toilet block at 8am. I had to walk right round the site to other toilet block. Half way through my shave and the cleaning team was wanting in. Why not clean toilets at 11am when everyone is up and getting on with their holiday?

We camped at the site with our tent for one night. It was lovely and quiet and the facilities were easy to reach and clean. I really loved the view of the sound and the neighbouring island.

Well grass pitches, but a bunch of holiday homes on site gives it a strange atmosphere. The desk times are okay, but the bins in the bath rooms should be cleaned more often.

We nearly moved to a different campsite. This site had great reviews but we were very disappointed. The ground is very uneven, so difficult to get our motorhome set up, and it was a real pain to have to boil the water to make it safe to drink. I didn't realise this at first and had to throw out all the salad I washed. Unfortunately, the shop was shut by then so we were out of options. I thought the play area would we an advantage but there's hardly anything there.

Beautiful, scenic campsite with a lovely walk into town along the water's edge. Staff were super friendly and helpful as well.
