Yesterday we had a great stay with a nice tent pitch. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the toilets and showers were good and very clean.

One of my favourite stays in my caravan I've had. Peaceful and stunning location. Great facilities. Coffee can and sauna makes it extra special. Can't wait to come back. Thanks again.

A real up and coming site. Different layers to the site so it's huge, but it doesn't feel it. Main toilet facilities are tired. Small huts for toilets and showers around the site are stunning, but absurd they were closed all morning for cleaning. Tried them for showers at 8:00 and still locked at 10:30. Can't understand the rationale behind this. Coffee hut, pizza, warm welcome. There's lots to love. Maybe define the pitch types - forest pitch or valley pitch.
A lovely friendly spot

Everything was totally lovely. The reason for the mark down on facilities was because even though they were great & plenty of them, the shower block nearest us wasn't performing.

This site is great for exploring around Aberfoyle. There is a cycle route and footpath through the woods to the town. We went into the town on a Saturday and it had a Co-op, and plenty of gift and coffee shops. The campsite facilities are kept spotlessly clean, it would be helpful to have a mat in the shower cubicles as you end up standing in a puddle caused by drips from the shower screen when you are trying to get dry and dressed. Overall a very good site.

Great location, only 30-40mn walking from Aberfoyle on a lovely path along the river. Beach close to the campsite and pizza truck every Saturday.

First time callers and what a fabulous weekend we had. The weather was pants! But, what a lovely weekend we had at Cobleland Campsite, so quiet and a pizza van came Saturday. The shop was great and staff were amazing! Facilities were awesome especially the roasting hot showers! Can't wait to return.

Nice site with great walks around forest and river. Perhaps a larger pitch might have been better given that our van is 7.9m long, but no problems with the site itself and would probably go back now we know the site and request a larger pitch.

Located in beautiful Aberfoyle beside the river Forth. Great views of the mountains and great for fishing. Kids loved running around safely and playing in the park. Lovely bathing and laundry facilities. Bike maintenance facility. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Take away coffee and hot food rolls on site. A half hour walk along cycle path to the town for bars and restaurants.

Cracking one night stay while passing through. Really helpful and friendly people working there - sorted us a good pitch and lent us an extension. Lovely dog walk and cycle path from site. Would stay again. Loads of nice extras on offer too, including sauna. Cheers.

What a great site! Friendly staff, pop up food and coffee vans, generous pitches down by the river. Beautiful location. We drove from south of England in a day and stopped here a night before heading to Loch Lomond (conic hill walk) only 15 mins away. Weather helped!!

Beautiful location, riverside woodland, lots of wildlife. Aberfoyle and shops an easy 1 3/4 mile walk along a level footpath. The lodge forest information centre just outside Aberfoyle is excellent with lots of way marked walks.

The welcome was warm, all the shared facilities were spotless and the handyman/cleaner was really friendly and always up for a chat. Lovely location on a bend in the River Forth with little beach area, which was great when weather dry. Nice, flat meadow hardstanding pitch. Then came rain, and it poured and poured. We left a day early only because of the wet weather. We hope to return.

Great location, just 2 miles from Aberfoyle, accessed on foot along a safe cycle route if you fancied a walk in. Warm welcome on arrival. Parked up. Sorted. Very clean toilet block with piping hot water. Shower block was separate to toilets but just a few steps beyond and though my wife would have preferred them together, it wasn't any hassle. It was a quiet time of year but for whatever reason, only two showers were open in our block. All in all, I would recommend.

Stayed here 3 nights of a 5 night jaunt in our motorhome. I arrived on opening day for the 2025 season and Oliver in reception greeted me warmly and was very kind and helpful. He acknowledged me by name throughout our stay despite the many other guests staying there. That really means something on a customer service level. The area was ideal for our love of long walks with a very energetic doggo. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. The pitches were ideal and all the facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained, some of the toilet and shower blocks looked brand new, too. Thank you, all, at Cobleland for the excellent care and attention!

I had the most therapeutic weekend at this site, even though it was raining I thoroughly enjoyed having this campsite as my base. The people that run the site were very nice and helpful, they worked very hard at keeping the place clean and tidy. It was not easy for them as the weather was not doing them any favours. They were out leaf blowing and cleaning all the facilities every morning, noon and night. There are very good walks to Aberfoyle and Gartmore which 95 percent of it is the safe cycle and walking route through some nice countryside. As I walked by the side of the River Forth, I had the pleasure of listening to nature. I will return again soon but it may have to wait till January 2025.Thanks James 😊
