Brilliant!

Brilliant stay. Campsite is in a great location. 10 minute drive to a town called Llanberis which was gorgeous for a nice walk. Has a lake and cafes about. Facilities on the campsite are brilliant. They are very clean and the showers are great! The owners are very welcoming and on hand to help with anything. Will definitely be back :)

All round excellent

The site is lovely. Toilets and showers very clean and tidy. Tent area is organised and each pitch is big enough for a large tent and car. Location is great with the back drop of the mountains and the sea nearby. The hosts are superb, very friendly and accommodating. If we visit North Wales again this is where we would like to base ourselves. We had an excellent long weekend so a big thank you to our hosts. Loved it. Andrew and Matt

Lovely stay

Really enjoyed our stay at Tros Y Waen. Lovely campsite with good, clean facilities and friendly staff. Great views towards the hills and mountains from our hard standing pitch. Even got daily visits from the local chicken population as an added bonus!

Excellent

Fantastic, spotlessly clean small site. Site manager was so friendly and welcoming - even brought us a wind break over as there was quite a bit of wind and it was chilly. Can't wait to go back again.

Fantastic

Excellent campsite with some great views, very convenient to get to Snowdon and Bangor. Facilities were excellent and far exceeded my expectations.

Wonderful

Wonderful couple nights. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Facilities are the best we've used, lovely clean toilets and showers. Gorgeous little walk around a stream with animals and a park for the kids. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay! Many thanks 😊

Lovely site

Lovely site and a very warm welcome. Brilliant location. Excellent for out-of-season, but didn't feel there were enough facilities for when it was any busier. Really pretty grounds, all very well kept.

Great location, family friendly!

Great site! Good location for sightseeing! Made to feel very welcome. The ground was a little boggy and waterlogged, but not a massive problem. The weather was very windy, but I was pointed out the best place to pitch to be protected! A beautiful site, very family friendly but great for everybody! I will definitely be booking again and have already recommended to friends!

Great day

It was a really nice place, not too far from anything at all and yet it seemed I was out in the middle of nowhere, it was great. Also, the bloke was super friendly and great help too, thanks 🙏

One night stay

Had a lovely stay here. The welcome was very pleasant and friendly. The showers were hot and toilets clean. The laundry facilities were also very good. The site was very relaxed. Well done!

Booked two non-electric pitches for a one night stay with some friends. Lovely and quiet space, with great facilities. The host, Paul, was super friendly and provided a great service. Definitely recommend!

Amazing campsite

Would highly recommend!

My partner, daughter and I camped here the night before climbing Snowdon. We were really pleased with the whole experience. The site is in a beautiful area and well maintained. Facilities were really clean. Communication was really good with the site as well, I emailed with a query and got a response the same day. Would definitely go back!

Lovely, quiet site

Pitches were spacious and the site was really quiet. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of cows, sheep and horses! The showers were really warm and toilets were clean. Was a perfect location for our walk up Snowdon!

Fun and great stay

Overall the campsite is ideal for family or groups. The staff were polite and helpful. The facilities are clean. It is just few minutes away from train station for those planning to climb Snowdon. The facilities are basic, but could do with additional shower rooms where there could be mirror and sink in it.

Lovely picturesque site, decent spacing between tents, shower block/toilets nice and clean. Convenient location to explore Snowdonia. Would recommend.

Peaceful, family friendly site

The site and facilities were clean, tidy and in really good condition. The tent pitches are very generous with lots of room for kids to play in the middle. There are two small play areas as well. It's an ideal location for North Wales and Anglesey. You can easily get to Caernarfon, Bangor and Llanberis/Snowdon each within 15/20 mins. The back drop is stunning and the people were very welcoming. I really can't recommend campsite enough, we will be returning next year.

Great

Great site, clean, good facilities. Good base for exploring the area but nothing really within short walking distance, shop, pub etc. We were on a quiet pitch away from most people and slept really well.
