Really enjoyed our stay at Skelwith Fold, staff were lovely and explained everything to us. The site was so clean, even out with leaf blowers during the day, which is a tough job in the start of Autumn. Immaculate amenities.

Easy to book with a wealth of information on their site. Very tidy with no noise and little traffic in a beautiful woodland setting. The hardstanding pitches were spacious and most only a short walk from the well maintained toilet/shower blocks. An excellent play area for children, a superb launderette with a handy drying room too. All spotless. There was even a sizeable library with hundreds of books to borrow. At the weekends different "food trucks" visit the site for a convenient takeaway. You can walk into Ambleside or to a pub and waterfalls. It is in a good location for visiting the lakes and mountains.
