Things to do on site and in the Romney Marsh area

Fun at base starts with bringing your bike or just a good pair of sturdy shoes. That's all you need to get to the local pub, relax over a drink or do some exploring. A campfire will also provide incredible entertainment at night, from telling stories in the flickering light to toasting a few marshmallows.

Fancy some salty sea air? Head to the loveliness of Kent's seafront and watch the boats ebb and flow. From Folkestone you could go to sea, or just ride the twee steam railway and uncover a few gems in Kent and East Sussex - Hythe, Rye and many more.
