Great location to explore

Great location with direct access to paths to Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby or Scarborough. We stayed in the Family Field with a good sized toilet block, 3 showers, laundry and pot wash facility. A small park area for children. Our pitch (3) is an odd shape but totally suitable for a campervan. We paid for Wi-Fi, £5 for 3 nights. Would definitely return. Fylingdales Inn is worth a visit.

1st time Camper

Absolutely fantastic. Met some fantastic fellow campers. Easy to get to. Everything a short walk away. Clean. My only 1 tiny moan, was the showers were intermittent hot and cold. Though, with the hot weather, it was not an issue on this occasion.

Recent visit to campsite to visit Robin Hood Bay and local area.

Lovely campsite. Toilets and showers clean. The only thing I want to say is depending on your walking skills, its more than 5 mins to the shop and a lot longer than 10 mins to Robin Hood Bay. Google states 19 mins! Pub has only just reopened after a refurb and is closed Monday and Tuesday and are currently not serving food.

Thank you for your review. A 70 year old man told me that it had taken him 7 mins to walk back from Robin Hoods Bay, therefore we say it is about 10 mins walk.

Well organised

Lovely campsite. Very well organised system for pitching tents. We were given plenty of room, had two cars which we could park next to and near to tent. Toilets and showers were very clean. Location was perfect with lovely views. Would recommend.

Great site in a lovely location

We had a great short break, great site and facilities, only issue was use of hard standing for awning. Not practical for us, but lesson learnt for the future.

Charming Surroundings

A small quiet well looked after site which is suited both for family and couples, It is a bit of a strange set up with hard standing areas on both sides of the small quiet lane and beside the farm with the tents mixed in among the vans on one side of the road. You have to leave one site and go through the barrier to fill up with water so a pipe near the shower block with a drain of for motorhome on that side of the road would help.

Fantastic Location!

The location is fantastic. Short walk through the fields down to Robyn Hoods Bay. Also able to join the Cinder Track close by and cycle to Whitby. Hot water in the showers and facilities are clean.

Great location

Good location, clean site. Nothing stood out as exceptional but you got what you paid for. You can walk to Robins Bay from here which is a lovely walk and the village is very pretty. Beautiful views from the campsite. My tip is make sure you have food before going to the site (there is an upper village where there are shops). We made the mistake and there were no little shops, like a little supermarket in the lower village to buy anything. My one comment to the site is I think if you could provide a garbage bin by the washing up facilities, that would be helpful. As it is a little walk to the entrance of the site to put a few bits of rubbish into the recycling site.

Good location

Nice farm stay - easy walking distance from Robin Hoods Bay and all it has to offer. Toilets/showers clean and plentiful. Only reservation was rubbish disposal area - at entrance to field (an open skip)

Thank you for your kind comments. We believe that the skip is better than waste bins scattered all around the park, where dogs and badgers can tip them over and make a mess. Bins around the park tend to encourage wasps, not nice! Doing it our way prevents all the above! Our skip is "screened" and outside of the camping field.

Amazing site

What a lovely site, great location and very friendly lady on reception. Very quiet site and plenty of room on the pitches, will be coming back again.

Perfect

Brilliant wee campsite, so peaceful and ideally located for walk into nearest village. Plenty of places for dog walks and a bus ride away to Whitby or Scarborough. Facilities spotless and would definitely stay here again Highly recommended.

Nice site but has potential to be better

The location is good with a pleasant walk to Robin Hood's Bay. The pitches are large but the gravel could be a lot finer for comfort. The toilet block is functional but a bit tired and could be cleaned a bit more often, although not really a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are no serviced pitches and not many clean water points, which could easily be rectified. We did enjoy our stay and perhaps have been spoilt on other sites. Worth a visit.

We get very few requests for serviced pitches.....therefore we do not have any, but you knew that before you booked ! There are 5 water Taps around the Camping field.....how many do you require ?

Good in every way

Great campsite, with easy access to Robin Hood's Bay. Large pitches with plenty of surrounding space, good facilities and a warm welcome. We had a very enjoyable stay.

First Campervan outing

Great site in a great location, EHU grass pitch was clean, tidy and well maintained.. Service block was always clean, new shower and toilet block spotless 🙂 .. site management team always keen to answer any events in the local area. Good access to the old railway track and a pathway down into RHB so ticked all my box’s and we will return

Great site with fab facilities, first time I've thought a camping shower was too hot but that's the heatwaves fault not the site!

Bank Holiday stay

Fantastic location, facilities were clean and it was a perfect campsite for me and my partner to bring our 2 year old camping for the first time

Pros and cons

The site was really well maintained. Hot showers, the hairdryer was a proper one and sockets next to it for straighteners. Toilets clean. Easy access for the beach and lots of walks around it. Only fault with the site was it was very cramped and uniformed, even though the field wasn't full. A doggy playfield would have been good too.

Middlewood farm

Lovely Campsite really enjoyed our stay very good value for money nice and clean .This Campsite is very central to Scarborough, Whitby and the 10 minute walk through feild to Robinhoods Bay ,enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
