VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan PitchesJun 2026

Decided Dad with his lads and dogs needed a night away from all the noise of life. Fire lit, we kicked back with a few beers then took the dogs for a well deserved walk and explore. Met Peter, who was very helpful with everything. Total respect for that they have created here.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan PitchesMay 2026

Cockin Farm is a lovely location set amongst rolling hills and with easy access to lots of beautiful walks. The way in is via proper single track and it gets a bit bumpy on the last bit, but worth it once you are there. It's quiet - the sound of lambs calling for their mothers, notwithstanding - and the views are great. It's a minimal-footprint campsite, with no bells and whistles, but all the better for that. There's a compost loo and urinal on the camping field and a little way down the hill some showers and washing-up facilities. Me and the hound had a lovely night here. Pete was v friendly and we would definitely come back.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan PitchesSep 2025

We had a short stay in Sep 25 while travelling South. The site is in a picturesque location, though it was a little too dark for us to enjoy it by the time we arrived. Do be aware that the site has a steep approach up a farm track, so be sure your camper can handle that. There is a compost toilet and separate urinals, and a shower unit, though we didn't have a chance to use this. The farm also has a very impressive and large pig, who is quite fun to meet as your drive in. We didn't meet the owners who were very friendly and extremely helpful, even giving us a tow in the van when we lost traction on the slope.
