About the site
Tucked away in a peaceful orchard beside the River Severn, the site offers a quiet stay surrounded by apple, pear, plum, and cherry trees. Guests can listen out for cuckoos, owls, woodpeckers, and sand martins, or take a gentle stroll along the nearby Severn Way footpath, which runs right along the river. The camping field is six acres, and offers ten spacious, non electirc grass pitches, suitable for tents and campervans. Just ten minutes from Gloucester, the site is well-placed for exploring, just minutes from the A48. A lovely pub is within a ten minute walk, with shops and restaurants just a short trip away by car. For adventures further afield, the Forest of Dean is only 15 minutes away, offering beautiful walks, cycling trails and woodland picnic spots. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead to protect the wildlife. The orchard setting is a lovely spot to walk with your pup, with plenty of other routes nearby. Campfires and BBQs are very much encouraged, with fire pits to borrow.
