Clean. Peaceful. Friendly.

This was our first camping trip for over 30 years! We needed somewhere for a short overnight stay between bike rides. Barley Fields was perfect for this. It was easy to book online and see the facilities available. There were two big fields with plenty of space. The toilet, shower and washing up facilities were really clean and the water was beautifully hot. There were many drinking taps around the site which was welcome. Thanks to the young couple (if you read this) that gave us a taste of their lovely sardine and langoustine BBQ ❤️ .

Beautiful skies

It is a rural, spatious campsite with a very relaxed feel. The facilities are basic but clean and are adequate for the number of people being catered for. The highlight though is the tremendous dark skies due to the space and isolated setting.

Quiet getaway close to coast

This is a campsite with all of the basics really well done. Huge fields, no fixed pitch sites, plenty of drinking water stands, great showers, clean loos and honesty the order of the day for firewood and marshmallows. Great value too.

Excellent! Beautiful campsite

I will definitely be booking again. My son and I really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location, easy to find and close to all local beaches.

Great campsite

Great place, basic, easy to find. Easy to get to other places around location. Showers are different but are really good basic again/easy. Small place seen loads of wildlife hares etc. Would stay again.

Very Pleasant Site

Convenient location for visiting Blakeney and Wells on Sea. We enjoyed our stay. Friendly managers Andy and Les. Would recommend for vans or tents. Fun to watch the hares racing around the field.

Great campsite

Very big fan of this campsite, great amount of space, great facilities and great location can't recommend it enough 👍🏼

Relaxing peaceful weekend away

This is such a relaxed campsite with great facilities and amazing location. We’ve been before and we will be back again

A great spot

A good basic campsite. Nothing outstanding about it. But, all the necessities are great. Toilets were clean (some of the time), but clearly kept-up to. washing up, shower section, porta-loos. Fire pits and fuel available. Field was nice grassy. Guests kept well to curfew/noise levels. Lots of young families and adult groups. Field in middle of nowhere really, but short drives to beaches. Great price for a night. Would recommend.

Clean, tidy site.

Two big open fields. Plenty of space to choose from. 4 outdoor showers very clean and tidy. 3 toilets including disabled. Very clean and tidy also. Power points for charging phones ect and cool boxes. Highly recommend Will return again a few times this summer, after this being our first.

What a find!

Lovely remote peaceful site but with easy access to the North Norfolk coast. Peace and quiet in abundance here, rock up park where you like, a nice touch having a picnic bench to use. Grass cut nice and short. Which helps with the Autumn dew. Showers were rustic but clean and served the purpose. If you want peace and quiet, basic amenities, as in no shop, no entertainment and very dark skies at night then this is a campsite for you and not to be missed. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful site

An absolutely beautiful site, great facilities. Really peaceful and wonderful to relax with the family. A great location and easy reach to the coast and holt.

No frills

Camped here, first time I've camped for 40 odd years. Very satisfied. Only gave 4 stars as I've nothing to compare it with, but I was very happy.

Wonderful campsite

Really clean toilets and showers, plenty of washing up facilities plus a spot to plug in phones to charge when needed. The owners/managers were very friendly and helpful. The campsite itself felt quiet, even when more families joined and there are wooden picnic benches you can use (and move over to your tent) - so thoughtful! We loved getting to hire out the fire pit and just loved our stay overall.

Just lovely

We stayed for two nights (me and my two teens) and we had a lovely time. The facilities were great too.

Nice, quiet retreat

Lovely, quiet retreat in peaceful countryside. Two large fields and you choose your own pitch. Cars allowed next to tents which is great. Facilities clean and adequate, but hot water for washing up is limited. Showers very nice and semi open air. Could do with a few more toilets. A bit in the middle of nowhere which is good or bad, depending on what you want! I would recommend.

Great tranquil site

Thank you for the lovely stay at the Barley Fields Campsite. Well what a wonderful campsite. Plenty of pitch space, campfires & outdoor cooking. Lovely listening to nature at its best with the owls hooting at night and the bats flying around too. Facilities were excellent, kept very clean.

Lovely quiet rural site

Lovely quiet rural site. Great for getting away from the crowds. We enjoy walking so this site was ideal for country walks. Binham is a beautiful village just down the road with a nice pub, community shop and ancient priory run by English Heritage. We hiked to Stiffkey on the coast and their village store/courtyard style cafe is definitely worth stopping off at. Plenty of other small pretty coastal villages nearby to visit. There's lots of room on this campsite so everyone had plenty of space between where they had chosen to pitch. It's very quiet with lots of wildflowers and wildlife which we love. The facilities were unisex with two shared toilets and one separated private toilet. Showers were unisex behind the washing up and information shed. There's everything needed for a good stay and all was very clean. We would stay again.

Perfect first camping experience with our children!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Lovely facilities that were in keeping with the classic camping experience we were hoping for! Lots of space for our children to explore and they had some footballs they were able to use during our stay which kept them entertained! Lots of information available for us to read of local restaurants and places to visit - hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back!

Magic stuff

I like the campsite so much I don't really want to leave a 5 star review as I want to keep it a secret. Barley fields campsite deserve it though. Will go back next year.
