Beckses Caravan Park is a small, family run site situated within the glorious Lake District National Park. The park is well placed, offering a quiet base, within a ten minute drive of Aira Force Waterfall and Ullswater, great for watersport lovers. You'll find a selection of tent and touring pitches, along with cosy glamping pods with heating and electric. Both families and dogs are welcome, with plenty of beautiful walks right from your base!

Lovely site, the vans were well spaced. Immaculate clean toilets and shower block. We couldn't find the re-cycling point for plastic waste which is essential for any site. Easy access to other places.

Lovely and peaceful site. Pitch was large and level. Toilets and showers were clean with plenty hot water. Site staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth another visit.

Lovely quiet site. Although you can hear the A66 traffic, it is not that loud. Bus stopped at the end of the road going to Keswick and Penrith. Loved sitting outside our motorhome watching the birds around the site. Had a great break here and we will definitely return as it is excellent value for money.

Love this site, really relaxing and very friendly. Close to Pooley Bridge, Ullswater Keswick. Pitches are great and clean toilets and showers. Would highly recommend visiting.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and couldn't fault anything. Even though it was bank holiday weekend, the site was busy but nice and quiet. On arrival we were given a friendly welcome and a rundown of the facilities available. The site was spotlessly clean, including toilet and laundry block. The showers were nice and hot too. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely short stay here, convenient to walk to nearby pub, there is a nice playpark for the kids and also a walk for dogs. Facilities were always clean and nice to use, and we look forward to returning.

A decent tidy and clean site. Showers nice and hot. We suffered poor T.V. Reception, not sure if it was just us. Small dog walking area but adequate for a quick business trip!

If you're after a quiet site, this is perfect. The site is well maintained, toilets and showers are clean and smell nice. The pitches are a decent size. It is dog friendly and has a designated space to walk your dogs. The local pub is a 15 minute walk away.

Fantastic stay at this caravan park, we had a campervan and although the facilities were basic in terms of what they offered, they were exactly what we wanted. Polite, friendly staff too which made all the difference. We loved our stay and will be back.

This campsite was so easy to get to from the motorway. Really friendly and accommodating staff, the facilities were clean and everything we needed was there. Close to Keswick where we took the very inexpensive bus rides to explore so much of the Lakes. Absolutely recommend it - we'll be revisiting the campsite for sure.

Great campsite, with great facilities and friendly owners. In terms of location, only a 15 min drive down the A66 from Penrith. It's great to access everywhere within the Lake District but the only disadvantage is the rumble of the A66 into the night and early in the morning. They also don't have any security gates like other sites that get locked through the night. And, it's completely open all day.

This campsite is idea for those that need to getaway for some quiet time and rest. A lovely friendly owner who was very helpful. The site was clean and tidy, along with the toilet and shower block. I will happily stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay here at this campsite. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The pod was very comfortable, warm and clean. It was very spacious and in a nice quiet corner. The picnic table outside our pod was nice. The toilet and shower facilities were excellent too. We would definitely come back here again!

The site is owned and run by a family, and the chaps who greeted me in reception explained in detail where I would be parked and had a laugh and a joke with me - a very friendly, warm Cumbrian welcome indeed! The pitch we had was quite level, some were not so fortunate. However you're in the Lake District, so to be expected! Multiple fresh water locations around the site. One Elsan disposal unit on the top of the community toilets. Site was quiet apart from the road noise of the A66, however this did quiet down later on throughout the night. The site is not well lit so please bring a powerful torch! We enjoyed the shower facilities and the wash room to clean pots, pans and even our clothes! The lady stocking up the leaflets was lovely to speak too and offered lots of information on the local area. Please be aware if your walking from here to Penrudock, there is no pavement. It is a small road and at night, is dangerous. Recommend taking a bus or driving if you have a car or small camper, motorhomes are limited in villages. The site it self is very small, nothing fancy, however we enjoyed and would stay again as it's a quick drive from here to Pooley Bridge which houses some fine local cuisine and great hospitality.
