VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2023 I would recommend this site without hesitation, and will certainly stay here again. A lovely location, well-appointed and clean facilities, friendly and well-maintained. Toilets and showers are plentiful and of a better standard than at most sites.
I was staying as part of a group, and no-one had a bad word to say about the place. I stayed an extra 2 nights. There are 2 good pubs within easy walking distance.
Lovely campsite
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Sep 2023 Gorgeous campsite, ideal location as there are two lovely local pubs with in walking distance from the site. Food at both was amazing value for money! The campsite itself had a shop which was ideal and great value for money, made the whole stay very enjoyable! Nice walks too from the site and beautiful views everywhere you look.
Cracking site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 I chose this site as it is one of very few that would allow a group of bikers in tents, caravans and motorhomes. We are Norton owners club members and this was the Shenstone Branch Camping Weekend. We had a great time.
This is our second time at this campsite and we will return.

Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2023 Lovely place, great bank holiday festival with lots of things to do. The park on site was great, and my boys loved the animals. Everywhere was clean and tidy.
Bank Holiday weekend stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2023 We stayed over the BH weekend with friends in the overflow field. Really enjoyed the weekend which included free evening concerts. They had food and drink stalls as well. What really impressed me was how clean the toilets were. The staff cleaned them on a regular basis and always ensured that the toilet paper didn't run out. Marshalls were on hand to ensure everybody had a good time and nothing got out of hand.

Barn Farm festival weekend with great bands, food stalls and entertainment for the kids. Toilets and wash blocks super clean, even late on a Saturday night!! Highly recommended.

Lovely family break
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2023 Just got back from a long weekend away at Barn Farm campsite with our 3 young children. We had a brilliant time - couldn’t fault anything. Despite it being an incredibly busy weekend for them facilities were kept clean and well stocked and we never had to queue for a toilet.
We particularly appreciated having the food vendors on site for the whole weekend and loved the live music.
Will definitely return again next year 😊
A firm fixture on the family calendar
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2023 This was our third year camping at Barn Farm over the Aug bank holiday. It’s become a family camping tradition together with our friends and their kids. The children absolutely love it, a fantastic way to end the summer holidays. Brilliant facilities and so much to keep the children (and adults) entertained on site with beautiful walks and surrounding areas to explore and enjoy.

Can't beat location

Bad points first. Improved security, making sure nobody is causing anti social behaviour in the early hours in the morning, as it is supposed to be a no noise after 11:00..pm, would be welcome. One family showed no respect to others on site, as I we were woken up middle of the night to an extremely load family, with one of them swearing, of which every other word being a swear word. Not what I expected for a site like this.
Toilet block could do with better hand dryers. Would be nice if there was electric hook ups for tents too.
Good points were the stunning views, the staff were very friendly. Excellent dog walking routes. Excellent location for visiting other towns. Very clean facilities.
Excellent for families with children if there is no anti social behaviour.

Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2023 2nd visit so far in 2023 and, as usual the experience couldn't be faulted (apart from the horrendous weather). The site is immaculate and Mark and the staff work tirelessly to keep it that way. If you're looking for a base while exploring the beautiful Peak District then you won't go wrong with a stay at Barn Farm.

Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2023 Beautiful site, well kept and serviced. Only thing I can add, it's not a bring down though, was the bar and entrainment could do with more lighting as there was a lot of people with children. Otherwise, it was a banging weekend, thank you.

Lovely site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2023 The park and staff were great. Clean and plenty of toilets and facilities, with plenty for the younger children to do. Could do with a bit more for the teens to do, but didn't spoil our stay. Even the intermittent wet weather didn't dampen our stay.
We were a group of family and friends with children aged from 3 to 14.
We had a great visit and would definitely go back and recommend to others. This was our second visit. Food vendors were, on the whole, good. Breakfast van were really good and great people. However, the hog roast was very disappointing as this was just a small cold pork sandwich with a bit of apple sauce on. Not what you expect from a traditional hog roast, definitely not worth £7 per sandwich, but this was not the park or staff's fault, that is down to the vendor. We ended up ordering extra food from the pizza van!
The live music on the Saturday and Sunday were a great addition.
On the whole, a great campsite and we will be booking again 😁😁
