Motorhome - Large Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2023 Beautiful site, nice and quiet but had everything we needed. The welcome was great and the staff friendly.
Lovely campsite
Motorhome - Large Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2023 A lovely, quiet campsite with great shower and toilet facilities.
We only stayed one night but would not hesitate to book again for longer.
Also great to walk the 15 minutes into Ilfracombe if you cut through near the RFC/gym.
The site also has a park for children.
Excellent site and facilities

Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Very nice site, walking distance to Ilfracombe, quiet and suitable for couples or families. Toilet and shower block were exceptionally clean. Very quiet at night, stayed for 3 nights and never heard a sound.
Little gem!
Motorhome - Large Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2023 A very well maintained park which is a credit to the hard working team. The shower blocks were very clean and modern. The pitches are a good size especially for caravans and motor homes. There is a large play park for kids. Location is quite good with a local bus stop to get into Ilfracombe and beyond. The staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed our short stay.
Perfect for us
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Campervan Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2023 Great location with a small beach perfect for paddle boarding and access to the coastal path is a 10 min walk. Ilfracombe 25min walk, not flat, in one direction and Combe Martin 10 min drive in the other direction.
Campsite very well run and tended too, facilities very clean and a high spec. Play park but no field or ball games, make it suitable for younger families.
We'll definitely be returning.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Campervan Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2023 It was our first time away in our campervan and Hele Valley was perfect. The site was very clean, even the toilets and showers. We all left and said we will be back.

Motorhome - Large Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) Jul 2023 Just got back from Ilfracombe / Hele Valley and I must say Hele Valley Holiday Park is very nice.
The weather was hit and miss, but all in all a nice weekend was had.
Very well-maintained grounds with spacious pitches, it's a quick walk down to the beach and a very well-stocked premier is closer.
Do try the wonderful set up at the very top of the camp, go through the gate and you'll find a lovely place to have a fry up in the morning or Sunday roast, or just a beer in the garden.
Owned by Lisa, it's a very popular place so booking is sometimes needed.

Excellent place to stay
Motorhome - Large Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) Jul 2023 On arrival was met by very friendly and helpful staff member.
Our pitch was a really generous size with all the services. Camp is in a really peaceful setting and very well maintained. Toilet/shower block was excellent, especially liked the all-in-one shower/toilet/hand basin cubicles. Very clean.
Lots of little extra bits - dog wash area, blocks to place BBQs on. The little stream running beside the camp adds a relaxing sound to the already calm atmosphere. All the staff were so friendly.
Thoroughly enjoyed the camp and would recommend it and would hope to go back again.

Camping Pod - Snug Camping Pods Jun 2023 Lovely pod situated in beautiful countryside location. Quiet campsite, with clean and modern toilet block. Check in and out was quick and easy. The fire pit was lovely in the evening.

Short walk to the beach that is lush. The place is spotless. The showers, toilets and everything are kept spotless also. There are washing machines, a freezer and a place to do the washing up also.
Will definitely come back here. Only if they were all this good. Thank you ever so much for a great stay.

Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) Jun 2023 Great site, very peaceful with good size pitches. Shower blocks are high quality with toilet, sink and shower in each cubicle, could maybe do with some paper towels to dry hands.
Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Loved the fact that there is a water tap and grey waste for each pitch, makes life easier. Also like the dog shower.
The location is good with a pub, shop and beach on the doorstep.
Good walks to be found, but be mindful of getting back if you do coast walks as buses are minimal. We walked the coast path to Lee, which was lovely but then found there were no more buses running back (only 2 pm). Had to wait an hour for a taxi. All beaches allow dogs on, which is great.
All in all a lovely holiday on a clean, very well-maintained site. Would highly recommend.
Peaceful location
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Campervan Pitches (Hardstanding) Jun 2023 Such a friendly greeting when we arrived. We were given information on shops, eating out, getting about on public transport. The site was very well maintained, clean wash facilities, pot washing area.
Our pitch was so lovely, backing onto a beck, very peaceful.
We had a great stay here and highly recommend a trip here.
Quiet and peaceful

Overnight stay
Motorhome - Large Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) May 2023 What a lovely hidden away campsite. We only stayed for one night but from the start the couple in reception were very welcoming. They explained how everything worked showers and codes etc. They gave us a map told us all the sights to see and where to eat.
The campsite itself is immaculately looked after. Very clean and tidy, so much attention to detail. Will definitely come back to stay for longer next time.
