Rural Relaxing is set on the edge of Medbourne in an unspoilt corner of Leicestershire. Campers can pitch up on grass pitches with the option of electric, along with cosy, furnished bell tents and safari tents for those looking for some luxury. The onsite coffee shop provides the perfect way to start the day. A five minute walk also takes you into the pretty village boasting a river, quaint cottages and a popular waterside pub!

We had a great time in this peaceful, quiet and beautiful location. The site is small and well looked after with clean toilets and showers. The surrounding area is full of countryside charm with the idyllic village of Medbourne a stone's throw away. Our safari tent was spacious, clean and comfortable - we feel relaxed and rested after our stay. Our only disappointment is not having the opportunity to enjoy the onsite café, open only on the weekends - the tipi looks amazing!

Thank you for your lovely review. I am pleased to read you had a lovely time. Yes, sorry the cafe isn't open in the week - it's not worth opening sadly but maybe next time you come it will be over a weekend! Lovely to see you and hope to see you again one day.

Stayed for two nights, mostly in heavy rain, but a very well organised site. No issues with the rain on the field, great facilities and beautiful peaceful surroundings. Walk to Nevil Holt via footpath is beautiful and highly recommended. Location wise, not really anywhere to buy supplies, so make sure to take your own if you don't want to leave the site to shop.

Thank you for your review, the village shop is open usually but probably wasn't open when you were there on this occasion. Hope to welcome you again one day.

Quirky but thoughtful facilities, lots of different soaps and shower gels. Active, relaxed cafe on site, opportunity to order pizza on a Saturday. Numerous BBQ stands provided. The fixed glamping tents looked comfortable.

Lovely stay, particularly appreciated the bits of spare stuff left out - eg chair and sun cream. Good location for walking into Medbourne and to Neville's Holt.

We had planned to stay 3 days at Rural Relaxing before travelling north, but on the first day, we already decided to stay longer - and return on our way back home. This place is so beautiful, peaceful and quiet, a perfect balance between simplicity, comfort and coziness. And last but not least, with a hostess like C, everyone immediately feels at home!
