Good experience
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The site was good value for money. We paid appropriately for the experience we had.
The site had good facilities with large spacious pitches. Some of the toilets and showers were run down but there was a nice block that has just been refurbished. It isn't far from Hunstanton either. Good experience all in all.

Different Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 On arrival, all seemed well, we were told to pick a pitch?
We arrived at said area and it was pure chaos, people had pitched all over the place, taking up more room than needed, that's for sure. The noise levels on the 1st night was enough to make me want to go home. The security came round and sent the kids off from the park around 11.30pm!
The showers were warmish Saturday night, but Sunday night, they were very poor to the point that water stopped flowing from them altogether. A lady was trying to wash up in the kitchen when that went off too. Toilets wouldn't flush, there was just no water While we talk about the loos and showers, defo need cleaning twice a day as yesterday, we had to retrieve a bag of food waste out of 1 toilets. Rolls all over the floor.
Very sad as for us it would have been a great base. The ice cream van drives through the site, the location for walking is fabulous, it was just the lack of space between tents. The disregard of other holiday maker's that made it a 'not again' for me.
Great stay on a lovely campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely campsite. Large pitches with good clean facilities. Easy access to Hunstanton close walk to Snettisham beach. We stayed with children 10 and under and dogs.
Gem of a campsite
Safari Tent - Royal Serengeti Safari Tent Aug 2025 We stayed in one of the large glamping tents on site with our 2 young children.
The tent was absolutely cracking, all the fun of sleeping under canvas with all of the comforts of a cabin. On arrival, the tent was lovely and clean. The prosecco in the fridge and the provisions were a lovely and welcome touch. We stayed over the August bank Holiday and the atmosphere on site was lovely. It was quite busy but didn't feel crowded. The kids particularly loved sleeping in the bunk bed and playing around the tent.
The staff on site were really brilliant. We are looking forward to booking up again. Thanks guys.
Ideal for short break
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Excellent location for coastal walking and visiting the local area.
Pitch size for tents was excellent with plenty of space to park car and spread out without encroaching on neighbours. The staff were friendly and helpful, with the camp shop able to supply most of the basic needs.
The only small criticism would be over the toilet/shower facilities. Although there are plenty available and the cleaning staff attend regularly the toilet block in the portacabins, very quickly got dirty with grass and discarded toilet paper on the floor. There were other facilities available so didn't cause us any issues and I accept that this is not the fault of the staff and that people's personal habits have to be taken into consideration, but maybe more frequent visits to the facility may help.
Apart from that, a really enjoyable stay and brought back lots of memories of my younger more adventurous days.

Fab holiday, shame about some of the disrespectful guests
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The pitches were spacious and hook ups worked well.
We had two pitches and had to use one pitch to park cars and one to pitch tents as the hook up was too far away for the electric lead we had. Not a problem for us anyway, as we were with friends and wanted to be close to each other. One pitch fit two large tents easily.
The toilets and showers closest to us were quite tired and dated. Mould and stains in showers - we were told by another guest about some nicer showers, but this was on our last day, so was a bit late. It was a little annoying that the toilets close randomly for cleaning - would be nice to know when as had to send a desperate little girl into the men's alone a few times as she wouldn't have been able to wait any longer.
Of course, I know cleaning is necessary and was very much needed as people made a lot of mess in the facilities, the cleaners did do a good job each time and they looked much fresher.
The tree house and park were a firm favourite with our little ones. Although did have to tell some older children off as they tried to tell them to move! The bar staff were very friendly, had a few good evenings in there. My only other grumble is the lack of security - we witnessed/heard several arguments, almost fights on the campsites along with antisocial behaviour. People were shouting and swearing and playing loud music way after midnight, particularly in the second part of our stay.
It would be helpful to be given a contact number for security as I tried to search one online and couldn't find one and didn't feel comfortable confronting people ourselves with young children in our tents.
Overall though, we had a really fantastic time, lots of memories made. Easy access to Hunstanton for the beach & Sea Life centre.

Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The site is well located, a short walk to a lovely beach. the staff were very helpful. the shower/toilet block closest to our pitch did need updating but showers were powerful with plenty of hot water.
There are other more modern ones on other parts of the site.. it's a great family site with plenty for children to do..
Our pitch was large with plenty of space...we were in the overflow area.

Lovely site
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Only stayed for 1 night to attend an event at Sandringham.
Check in at 2pm was straight forward, the pitch was a good size for our tent and vehicle, electric hook up. point was easily accessible. Didn't use the showers or washing up facilities, but they looked clean and the toilets were being cleaned the morning of our departure and were clean the times we did use them.
Quiet site through the night, no antisocial noise. Would stay again if in the area.
Quiet camping near the beach
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We stayed here as we were attending an event at Sandringham. We had seen some mixed reviews before heading off so expectation was low, but we were pleasantly surprised. The site itself was easy to find and well signposted which was great as a first time visitor to the area.
Firstly, the lady on reception was very lovely and friendly which was great. She explained the barrier and gave us a map showing us where to go. The non-electric pitches were well marked out and a bit of a free for all and we were able to save a pitch next to us for our friends. There was a small play park in the field and a larger one a minutes walk away which our friends daughter loved.
The shower block was basic but did the job. Whilst there was a signing sheet for regular toilet checks, these seemed to stop after 4/5pm and both nights. By the time we went to bed, most of the toilets were filthy and unusable, which was a shame. The toilets are cleaned each morning between 8-9 which meant they had to be closed for half an hour each which was frustrating as this was when most people seemed to want to use the bathrooms. Between this and lack of cleaning later in the day, it felt a bit grubby at times. But this is the only really negative thing we had to say.
Overall, if we were going to a local event we would stay again, but would want to take our own toilet!
Would recommend if you are happy with something basic. We didn't use the bar or shop on site but both appeared well used by other guests.

From the lovely friendly welcome at check in, fun, speedy and efficient. Clear instructions and standards here of cleanliness were excellent.
We only stayed one night but wish we were staying longer as it looked great.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Decent place to stop for a weekend. Staff amazing, facilities tired. Showers woke me up when they suddenly changed temp! Bar ok and reasonably priced.
It did what was needed.
Great campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 It's brilliant, we stayed non electric tent camping, the shower block is a bit tired but serviceable. The showers in the sheds are so nice instead.
The lady in the shop is funny, the bar staff are brilliant, 100% will return.
Oh, and the security presence is brilliant, so proper quiet at night.
Just what we needed
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We stayed at this campsite to attend a concert at the Sandringham estate. As a group of 4 (2 couples) this was a perfect campsite for us. It wasn't too busy, it was walking distance to the beach, Heacham, a few bars for a drink, a chip shop and only driving distance from Heacham, Hunstanton and Sandringham when we needed any shopping or a change of scenery.
The campsite wasn't too full of kids which is great for us (our kids are grown up) and yes there are aspects of the campsite which could be cleaner or do with a bit of a modernise but we absolutely would stay again for a long weekend.

Unfriendly reception VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The receptionist gave the most unfriendly welcome I've ever experienced in all my campervan years.
Told me where to pitch and nothing else, either when I arrived or when I left. You're packed in like sardines so it's pot luck if it gets quiet enough to sleep. Its saving grace is the bathrooms, which are very nice and clean.

Just what we needed, excellent facilities.
Only thing was that we weren't aware of was the £10 deposit for the barrier fob. Not a huge issue! Luckily we had £10 on us! Never really carry cash!

On site clubhouse was great. Toilets kept clean and regularly checked. Will definitely come back again.
Great site with everything you need
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Fantastic long weekend away with the family and dog. Brilliant location as everything is just a short walk or drive away.
The pitches were a good size and well kept. All the staff are very friendly and happy to help. Cheap prices at the bar, although its a little dated, we were welcomed with a smile from the bar staff. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained, park, football pitch, bingo, entertainment.
The only thing that has knocked down the review is the big skip was full and needed emptying, this meant that more flies and wasps were near our tent. Not really a big issue as it was more to do with the location of our tent. The shower blocks near us weren't great (needed modernising) but we just headed over to the other blocks.
All in all, a great stay and excellent value for money. We'll definitely be coming back.
