About the site

An ideal location to switch off and unwind. This adult only glamping site is surrounded by glorious walking routes and beautiful Scottish landscapes. The onsite cafe also makes for the perfect way to start the day with a great breakfast menu and a range of hot drinks. Sleeping up to two, the pods come kitted out with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Inside you will find a modern, bright interior with bedding, WiFi, a TV, lighting, electric and heating for those cooler nights. A luxury ensuite will include a toilet, shower, hand basin and complimentary toiletries. For your morning caffeine, there is also a coffee machine and kettle. A rounded rear window will also provide great views over the countryside. Step outside of your pod and you will have your own al fresco dining area. Here there is a table and chairs, along with your own hot tub! Each of the glamping pods measures 8m x 3m, kitted out with a double bed (with two twin beds available when requested). The premium pods are slightly larger at 9m x 3m and include a king size bed, along with the addition of air conditioning and slippers and towels, perfect for after a soak in your tub. Please note, all of the pods are dog free.

Each pod has its own ensuite facilities. Welcome packs can also be added upon request. Free WiFi is also available.

The Courtyard (open daily from 10am-4pm, except on certain bank holidays) offers gifts, beauty products, along with a range of antiques, vintage furniture, and clothing. Visit the onsite farm shop for local produce like Scottish gin and vodka, the site's rare-breed pork, grass-fed lamb and beef and free-range eggs, as well as vegetable boxes and hampers.

If you're hungry, visit the onsite coffee shop (open seven days a week), serving a delicious range of breakfasts, lunches, home-baked goods, a specials board and a drinks menu. An onsite nature trail also offers a scenic walk where you can meet mini donkeys, pygmy goats, pigs, along with other wildlife. There are also opportunities for feeding the ducks and geese, with food bags available for purchase at The Courtyard!

For pubs and more amenities, Alyth and Kirriemuir are a 15 minute drive away.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peel Farm glamping pod. I booked our stay for my boyfriend's birthday and we had the best time, from the moment we arrived we were both so impressed with the lovely facilities and location. The Elm pod was beautifully decorated inside and had the most loveliest views surrounding the pod and the hot tub. We really enjoyed our breakfast in the morning at the Peel Farm coffee shop and it was so nice seeing all the animals on the natural trail too. This was a brilliant experience and would highly recommend our stay. Thank you Peel Farm for a fantastic Glamping stay.

A note from the site themselves...

Located on our family farm in the beautiful Angus Glens we are very proud of our glamping pods. They have involved a lot of labour and investment but my brother, dad and I are delighted with the outcome and are always delighted to welcome new and repeat guests.

Our farm is predominantly cattle but we also have other residents such as miniature donkeys and pygmy goats who live right next to the glamping pods and are very happy to chat. There is an abundance of wildlife to see while relaxing in the hot tubs. We all hope to welcome you soon, Claire

Things to do on site and in the Angus area

The onsite nature trail is an ideal way to spend the morning. Wander past the Red Deer Park, a waterfall, past the chicken village, fields of horses and even some rabbits and guinea pigs. A great way to work up an appetite before visiting the onsite cafe.

Dundee is also within a 30-35 minute drive, full of attractions. The Victoria and Albert Museum Dundee provides ever-changing exhibitions on all things culture and fashion. Verdant Works also offers an insight into the local story of jute production.

For seeing some magnificent Scottish architecture, Glamis Castle is a 20 minute drive from the site. Built-in the 14th century, visitors can enjoy guided tours around the grand rooms and beautifully manicured grounds.
