Macbeth's Hillock offers fabulous ensuite glamping pods for four, dog friendly and set in an area made famous by Shakespeare's witchy tale. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits (skip the cauldron though!) and picnic tables are offered, plus a small shop for the essentials. Enjoy a family friendly site with key lock check in and access to the lovely Scottish Coast and Inverness.

This was such a brilliant place to stay with our two young children. The pod was very clean and had everything we needed, including an ensuite with a nice shower. The kitchenette was great and had all the utensils needed, as well as a fridge with a small freezer. The pod also had a TV and heater, which were great additions. The real highlight was the firepit and outdoors area. We had access to logs and all the equipment needed for a fire on site and it was brilliant to be able to sit and relax with it in the evenings, as well as spending time cooking outside over the fire. The children loved it! There's a small sandpit, which was a real hit with the children! They spent hours happily playing outside and loved the freedom of being able to play in the grassy area by the pod. It was very safe too (with cars parked at the site entrance). With only five pods on site, it felt spacious, quiet and private. Even with all five pods occupied, the site never felt crowded. It's also in a great location with plenty of shops nearby, as well as some truly beautiful outdoor locations to explore. The small shed onsite also has some additional extras that can be purchased if needed. Make sure to bring some cash to put in the honesty box. The owner, Karen, was also very friendly! She had some great suggestions for places to visit and was very nice. This really was a fantastic family stay! We had such a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning again this summer. If you want a relaxing, fun and enjoyable family trip, we highly recommend Macbeth's Hillock!

Macbeth's Hillock is a joy and a real gem. The pods are well built, have great facilities inside (everything you need), spacious enough to be comfortable (I'm 6'5 and had zero issues and no head bangs) and spotlessly clean. There is a lot of space outside the pod which was great as we had our dog with us. The entire area is clean, tidy and well maintained. The car parking and footpath access is excellent. The location is well sign posted and easy to access from the main road. The owners were friendly and helpful with some useful communication during our trip. I highly recommend Macbeth's Hillock to anyone looking for a glamping pod in the Moray area.
